Hi! I saw a whole bunch of nice LTT videos talking about servers and I was wondering : Where is the optical fiber at? It just seems like whenever fiber is available, you get a cooper version ^^? (Talking here about the original 10gbit base-t choice, the QSFP cooper, every server equipment that I saw in the videos etc..) Just wondering

Nice guide I only want to mention, it isn't best practice to add a gateway when there is none. A gateway is a way to communicate with another network. In this specific case, as there is no network, there is no need to put one in the config. Also, was there any option for jumbo frame / MTU ajustment with that kind of adapter to see greater speed? Thanks!

Just make sure your usb c is also a thunderbolt 3 port. Solutions are not yet available, but wil be the "Razer Core" and the "Asus ROG XG2" for USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port. Yet to see what laptop will be compatible as they may require firmware update.
