So i recently got new audio gear because I wanted better sound and a better sound experience or more 'HI-Fi' sounds from my pc. The equipment i got are my headphones Superlux HD668B's, my mod mic 5 or (MM5), and my soundcard Sound blaster Audigy 5/Rx. Btw let me know if this a good sound set up, im looking for really good sound and maybe will invest in more if needed. But anyway i bought the sound card to boost my volume a but because stock these headphones needed more than what my inboard was pushing. So after i got everything installed i did some tests on my mic in Audacity, when i did the tests i heard a lot of static from the mic. i did some trouple shooting with the modmic guys and at first i thought it was the extensions for the mic because when i pluged the MM5 into the pc without extensions there was no static at all. then i thought i fixed the problem by moving my sound card up a slot on the motherboard and then i got no static. now i tried it again today and there is now static again!!! Please help. and again let me know if im truly getting a good sound experience with my current setup. should i invest in a external amp? im new to audio so i do need help.

So I have a 250g SSD and I already am running on only 23g of storage. I want to know how I would upgrade my storage while keeping my SSD and keeping my operating system and some games I want to run on my ssd on there. And what would be a good option for an upgrade. Maybe another larger storage ssd but any recommendations I will gladly take. Also how would I transfer my data I want on the other drive without messing anything up.

Roccat Kone XTD Lazer Vs.. Roccat Kone XTD Optical
Brency Boy replied to Brency Boy's topic in Peripherals
Why optical. I just want an opinion. -
I`m ordering the Kone xtd tonight and I need help deciding on what one I should get the optical or laser version. I have never owned any high end gaming mouse and I use a steel series qck heavy for my mouse pad.

So my two main questions are the following 1. Will adding another SSD slow my system down? 2. If a add another SSD should I move anything over to the other SSD or leave everything as it is and start adding to the other SSD? I am currently running Windows 10 on my C: drive which is a Samsung 250g SSD. Thank you!

So I was trying to download Firefox as my back up browser and my Chrome wasn't working to I went to my internet explorer. I keyword searched Firefox and clicked on the first web sight, not knowing it was a add website. So I downloaded the installer, I ran it and it disappeared, so I tried again and the second time I realized it was a fake site. So I quickly ran a full system scan in Norton and all it found was about 10 tracking cookies (those cookies had my name in them for some reason) So I now assume everything is cleared up. Should I do anything more to make sure my computer is free of viruses or anything it might have done? And yes I know I`m idiot for not realizing earlier This is the sight if it helps anything (open at your own risk) www.open-download.com/Firefox
