thinking about getting a lg 34gk950f (just under 1.2k€) instead of continuing the endless waiting game for the pg35vq. any thoughts on that?

    That basically what I did and so far I haven´t regreted it. Especially since the PG35VQ will be in the 2.500+€ range and has stuff that doesn´t belong in a monitor imo. Like a DAC or RGB on the backside you never see.

    The only true advantage is HDR10, so true HDR with I think 512 light zones over the somewhat meaningless HDR400 without and backlight dimming on the LG.

    hey guess what, it just arrived and i'm about to send it back... after i already went through 4 rma's with my pg279q just to get a panel that isnt defect.

    seriously is nobody ever fucking checking for defects anymore, this is just unacceptable and the 5th time it has happened to me in less than a year

    Oh that sucks man... Had to send back my old PG278Q once because it was missing the DP cable... But you seriously have bad luck
