  1. Usualy during the boot. Sometimes on the windows logo, sometimes once i'm on the desktop, I will hear a small physical "click" somewhere from my motherboard. When the click happens the computer freezes for like a quater of a second. Never ever happens again until the next time I boot. Does somebody have an Idea what it is? It doesnt affect me really I'm just curious. specs in signature.
  2. I've searched online. Multiple people have this exact problem that got fixed by last driver update. Not me. Context : Haven't used ReLive in a while. Been deactivated in my settings since long before Windows 10 Creators Update. It was working perfectly back then AMD ReLive only works proprely when I record the desktop. When using it in games in dedicated fullscreen (not borderless), it does one or more of the following : The little status icon in the corner flickers like hell, same for the overlay if I press the Alt+Z hotkey. If I press Alt+Z the overlay "pops up" but I don't see it (by that I mean that the overlay takes control of my mouse but doesn't show up at all "over" the game in fullscreen) If I record (or save instant replays) when the the previous 2 issues are happening, the video is like 1 frame per 3 seconds (only game, mouse is full FPS) OR records the desktop bellow the game (or the last image seen of the desktop) When I record dekstop its fine. Overlay behaves proprely too. When I record any game windowed or borderless windowed using the "record desktop" its fine. but thats because it records trought the desktop "engine". Not directly recording the game Other info: Windows 10 Creators Update (1703) MSI R9 390 i7-6700K Video drivers at 17.6.2 (Latest). Fresh installed multiple times with and without DDU 144hz FreeSync Monitor Hyper-V, known to cause issues, is disabled. Tested on multiple games that have diferent DirectX versions. And also Game with or without steam overlay (or not from steam entirely) Xbox dvr disabled then after disabling, Xbox app completely uninstalled using powershell
  3. Maybe you are right but doesn't 0.77Ghz look a bit low? Even at full idle I would be surprised by that low of a clock on a 4690k
  4. My year old R9 390 started to be unstable lately in low-load games like LoL and TableTop simulator (those are the ones I tested so far) The unstability shows up as horizontal lines apearing on the screen (they look identical as what you would get with an unstable overclock) and also as 0-60 gpu usage spikes (60% load has always been normal, its the fluctuation that is the problem). I don't have performance issues like stuttering or lower than usual fps. Only the unstablility. No full on crashes so far But that doesnt occur in most recent games that could be considered heavy games games that constantly push the GPU to 100% almost all the time trought the game like Overwatch, Witcher 3, Dying Light. (again I only tested those so far) However in the overwatch setting menu the fps is capped at 60 so the graphic card doesnt work that hard compared to the home screen or in-game where I hit 90-100 fps, so the unstability is visible. Applying a small but significant overvolting from 20mV to the max of 100 mV fixes most of the problem but the unstabiliy still show up sometimes wether i put it to 20 or 100 At this point i'm just trying to justify a RMA (my warranty still has 2 years) but I want to be really sure the issue is not fixable and that the card really has a problem. TL:DR if GPU is not at full-idle or full-load I get overclock-like unstability Other important stuff: Temps look good, memory clock is acting normaly I have a 144hz freesync monitor and a 60hz secondary Freesync on/off doesnt change anything Uncapping league to let it run at 700-800 fps doesnt fix even if the card works a bit harder Power limit is at +50%, so not an issue Monitor is not an issue. the horizontal lines span across all my screens, and I managed to screenshot it so it confirmed to be GPU bound. Started happening weeks after the last driver update so i'm pretty sure it unrelated. (Tried disabling relive recording, doesnt change anything) Always had a small +20mhz overclock without overvloting and it has always been stable, thats why i'm surprised that now I need to overvolt at stock.
  5. so would do the job for expantion cards like extra usb ports, network or soundcards?
  6. I'm curious. When two slots are used in x8 mode (with a 16 lanes cpu). When you add a x1 card will it use the 1x8+2x4 "patern"? So now 1 gpu is x8 the other is x4 and the x1 device uses x4. If I were to add another x1 device would it use the same x4 as the first? Or would I simply be out of pci lanes?
  7. I just feel like chaning fans. And those make audible noise even at their lowest settings.
  8. I find the default fans (Slightly modified version of the SP140, i think they are called SP140L)very loud. I would like to go more quiet without loosing a lot of performance. Any recomendation?
  9. I have an un-rooted oneplus 3, that has been factory reseted once since the issue apeared a few weeks back Running 6.0.1 and most recent vessel version
  10. lan parties would be super cool with that
  11. So i've had enought with corsair link and i'm going to plug the PWM fans of my h110i on the mobo headers. So without corsair link, the pump is gonna run a default. Can someone confirm if the default of the pump is the Quiet or the Performance setting. I need to know because this will make me decide if I will still use corsair link. (if the default is quiet, because I want performance)
  12. Would 2133 1.5 volt memory do well with my ivy bridge 3770k and z77 Mb http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231757 can I/should I go for lower/higher voltage or clock? Also, I know there is not a big real world difference between 1600 and 2400 but I'm still interested in buying high clocked ram. And I need an upgrade from 2x4 to probably 4x8
  13. Wich one would give me the best quality if I went with good quality Aux cable on the second option
