  1. what is difference between Zero and Shine?
  2. apple has NOWHERE near the QC quality has Razer does. don't pretend that it does. Razer's marketing team is BETTER than apples lol
  3. out of curiosity, what country are you from? that mouse has been out since at least december 2012 in Canada
  4. aesthetics + marketing + high cost it works and looks nice for the critical first impression. the high cost persuades people to defend their purchases. eventually, they start buying into their own ranting. basically, those 3 points results in the buyer word-of-mouth advertising (the most effective form) to themselves. vicious cycle really.
  5. what exactly are you referring to? the Ouroboros I'm aware of was released last year.
  6. quickfire TK cherry blue nkey rollover blue backlight 10 key less much cheaper than duckys unless you're in one of those countries with messed up electronics pricing
  7. blue is not mainstream??!?! your world - do not want!
  8. all I'm going to say is, if you're actually waiting for an 8K series card, you're going to be waiting till 2014
  9. land everywhere? i'm only interested in vancouver BC ;) the QF TK can lock the function key (so that you can use media controls without holding the func key), can this keyboard do the same?
  10. are we EVER going to see a desktop chip ever again? to clarify, everything after nehalem was very clearly optimized for mobile.
  11. keep your window and show off your expensive noctua fans!
  12. many reasons: different quality of hearing, different case, different fan header voltage, etc. the list could go on for awhile. All that matters is that the OP has a problem with the loudness of his fans and he wants help finding something quieter (regardless if we think his complaint is valid or not)
  13. why are you saying a 360 + 140 rad isn't good enough? that is a HUGE amount of cooling.
  14. well, you'd be waiting till next year at the earliest....
  15. Not directly talking to the OP here, but I really feel that blues are the only 'real' mechanical switch. everything else feels really close to membrane keys, ESPECIALLY the cherry reds. I would get a membrance keyboard over the reds any day.
  16. really hope that's not true. or that I like cherry stabilizers. unlike most others (i think), i greatly enjoy costar stabilizers.
  17. CLEARLY, i was blown away by the sheer awesomeness factor of it. totally blew my memory neurons straight out of my head. ;)
  18. jeez, I can bearly hear them at normal speeds lol.
  19. wow, totally didn't see this. did Linus not cover this?
  20. why? they're more reliable long term BECAUSE you can replace them if something goes wrong.
  21. air cooling is fine for you because 4.4 GHz is all you want. many, many people want higher than 4.4 GHz (honestly, 4.4 GHz shouldn't really be called an overclock - I've never seen a 2600K NOT reach that). It's that simple.
  22. from what the SPCR guys say (honestly, they are by far the most anal-retentive factually accurate people you will find on the hardware internet) think of noctuas like this: reliability - GOLD noise/performance - SILVER performance and noise for value - BRONZE 'medals' are relative to other fans in each category, as in, NOBODY beats Noctua fans for reliability.
  23. @windspeed36your statement is only true if there IS a perfect fan. best != perfect.
  24. thank you very much for this topic; I don't watercool, but this is still one of my 'want to know' things that i'm too lazy to actually ask about. can we get examples of radiators at given thickness points? h100/i/h110 are 27mm? h80/i are 40-50?
