  1. Hello, I have an ASUS B450 Strix-F rev 1.01 and a shiny new 5600X and no idea what BIOS version is on there. Been looking around for a while now trying to find out whether or not I can update the BIOS with the 5600X in there even if the CPU isn't supported however not been able to find anything. Does anyone know if this is possible or will I need to drop in my old 1600 to do it. Cheers.
  2. @Skiiwee29 My friend I thank you! Took the jet plate out and filled up and low an behold its worked. EK need to do some homework here and fix this issue
  3. Will give that a shot, if that's the case EK have some serious issues with their D5's and Velocity blocks
  4. I'd see a leak somewhere though wouldn't I if there was air leaking into the loop
  5. Hello guys, So re tubed and upgraded some parts of my loop now filling it up and then this happens, see photo, anyone got any ideas how to move this air out? I've been tilting the case for over an hour every which way from Sunday and have been pushing pressure into the loop through a tube attached to the top of the res filled with coolant but can't seem to get even a bit more coolant to flow in more than a trickle. Cheers
  6. Right so it was actually that simple..... I do feel like a bit of a doughnut now haha. Thanks guys, just cut the simulation time down from about 15 hours to 4 hours!
  7. Hello, I need to create a environment variable for CST Microwave Studio 2019 to allow the use of unsupported hardware for GPU acceleration. However I have no idea how, I have managed to get to the environment variable editing window but that's where I have been running into difficulty. I have the required specs GPU wise for the software to use it but it isn't on the dev's list of supported hardware due to them not having tested it. The variable is; CST_HWACC_ALLOW_UNVERIFIED_HARDWARE = 1 How would I go about setting this? Is there any additional software, source code anything I need? Thanks.
  8. Am thinking the blitz kit will clean anything nasty out with the part 1 then clean away anything else with the part 2 followed by a few flushing cycles of distilled water.
  9. Would it be a fairly good idea to do a cleaning cycle with something like the Mayhems blitz kit?
  10. Well........The list of things that have gone wrong has just gotten longer.... This blueish green crap has appeared in my loop and then there's the odd floater in my res which likes to spilt up then reform at the top.So am at a loss, I think it may be some kind of growth but it looks like a copper oxide from the colour.I cleaned out the rad with a dilute vinegar solution then flushed it out with De-ionised water, the rad and tubing is brand new, pump/res, fittings and block are reused.Block was washed out with elbow grease and hot water then rinsed off with de-ionised water but didn't clean the fittings or rinse the tubing out.Rad - Black Ice Nemesis LX360Pump - Laing DDCRes - Aquacomputer aqualisCoolant - EK Cryofuel Acid GreenAnyone have any ideas whats happening here?
  11. I will have another go first but disconnect everything but the drives in the array and the windows install USB drive and try loading both folders of drivers and see what happens.
  12. I have tried it, which driver is it? I have used all of them together and each one separately to no avail. Do you mean load all the drivers in both folders?
  13. Weird, I have tried to do exactly the same as you and it just doesn't want to work. The option to delete the partitions aren't there also the raid array itself isn't showing up,
  14. I have already deleted all the partitions from the previous install or Windows as well as wiping the drives using secure erase from within the BIOS.
