  1. I've already run DDU. Actually, I went all in and reinstalled Windows 10, without Nvidia's drivers (just Microsoft's stock ones). I did enjoy 1 hour doing doing critical work, but then the screen shut down ...again.... ? Edit: Before all this, I had the latest Nvidia drivers.
  2. Hello! I'm running into the same thing lately.. When I am using my pc, my screen suddenly shuts off. The computer itself keeps providing power to all attached devices (keyboard, mouse, USB drives light up), but is unresponsive. Also, I've observed that sound doesn't stop playing immediately. When the screen goes black, whatever I'm listening to (ex Spotify), doesn't shut off, instead 10secs later it lags and freezes. Could it be a GPU problem? I cannot find any memory dumps, so I assume that this is not a BSOD. Any ideas? 3. I successfully restored windows' default bootloader, but i still have a remaining partition on the disk which is recognised as "ubuntu" by my bios. I tried to install an other linux distro but the install failed claiming that it couldn't install grub...Disk Managment reveals these two partitions, one of these is windows'....Which one should I delete ????
  4. Oooohhh sh!t!!! It worked ! Turns out a ram module wasn't installed correctly...Thank you SO much! For a sec I thought I bricked the system
  5. Hmm..The CPU cable is plugged in correctly, so for the 24... I'll check the ram modules but I'm not very optimistic
  6. Hey, I just transplantedd my PC into a new case and I'm going though some problems. I have checked all the cables , my fans are spinning my GeForce gtx960 is working (the lights are on) but on there is nothing showing up on the screen! Any idea on what's probably going on? Thanks
  7. Hi, I got a little bit overexited about the new office and I just wanted to suggest some tweaks for server room cooling (Maybe they are dump but I couldn't stop my self from posting them   ) First,(the borring stuff..) some door isolation sould be added (http://www.amazon.com/Thermwell-Products-DDS2-2-Inch-Double/dp/B005BTA0FA/ref=sr_1_sc_3?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1438872747&sr=1-3-spell&keywords=floor+door+isolation+kit (?) ). Second,(the jucy stuff ... B) ) install Ubiquiti's mFI things and some ACs to the power outlets and cool the damn thing : 1) http://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-mFI-THS-Temperature-connect-Network/dp/B00HXT8H1U/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1438873072&sr=1-1&keywords=mfi+ubiquiti (when temperature exceeds ex.40C the power outlets get activated) 2)http://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-mPower-3-port-Power-Wifi/dp/B00CXWS848/ref=sr_1_5?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1438873241&sr=1-5&keywords=mfi+ubiquiti (the outlets mentioned above) 3)http://www.amazon.com/Frigidaire-FRA052XT7-000-BTU-Window-Conditioner/dp/B003F4TH6G/ref=sr_1_7?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1438873317&sr=1-7&keywords=floor+air+conditioner (This is an floor AC ,but anything else should work) Yea,actually thats it...Happy moving  P.S. I don't know anything about mFi (I haven't searched a lot for it), so some search is suggested  .
  8. Hi, I know little about networking but my dad asked me to bridge his home with his company store, guessing that I am an high-ultra-super-amazingly-talentented computer guy -.- ...Anyway... I have came up these products: 2x AG-HP-2G16 AirGrid M2, AirMax AP-CPE (1 per building) 1x EdgeRouter POE, 5-port Router with PoE (1 at the company building to connect the UniFi *thing* ,AirMax antenna and 2 Ubiquiti cameras(not listed)) 1x UniFi 802.11n MIMO Long Range Access Point (1 at the company building for WiFi) Will they work? Moreover (I know it's a dump question), the company building doesn't have an internet connection ,if i bridge the 2 buildings will I be able share the internet connection from my home? Thanks! P.S. Sorry for my english ,I am not a native speaker...
