  1. The software of my sound card is just hell for me, so if I could justify getting rid of it with a DAC, i'd be happy. As i see it, FiiO E10K would improve my listening experience, but that's just a hopeful thought i guess...
  2. All info that i have on the sound card is it's name. The software on this thing is buggy as hell, and that is probably because of how old it is.
  3. Yo guys! I'm thinking of getting a DAC together with my new headphones (DT770 80 Ohm). I don't know whether it's an upgrade though. My current sound card is a Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme PCIe, and i was thinking of replacing it with a FiiO E10K. The thing i like the most about the sound card is the equalizer. I don't know how the bass is, if i couple the DT770's and FiiO E10K, compared to my current setup (HyperX cloud headset + aforementioned sound card). My main focus with this new setup, is to see if the listening experience will improve greatly. I'd really like a quality pair of cans, so i can blast my music without hesitation. Any help is appreciated!
  4. I'd much rather upgrade my PSU at the same time, in order to handle bigger cards in the future, so i might aswell upgrade it now.
  5. In my opinion, the R9 390 seems a lot more future proof because of the extra 4 gigs of ram. Also, it's cheaper than the 970 here in Denmark, so i'll get more bang for the buck.
  6. Hey everyone! My GTX 690 has gone to sh*t lately, so i'm going to upgrade my GPU. But in the process, i might aswell update some of my other parts, and those include: -a new Chassis -New PSU for R9 390 Nitro. -Cooling for OC. Now, for the GPU, i'm looking at the R9 390 Nitro, since the AMD market is a little cheaper than the Nvidia market here in Denmark. As for the new chassis, i've been looking at the Corsair Graphite 760T, since it looks REALLY awesome, and it provides lots of workspace for later on. As for the PSU, i have no idea whether i need to upgrade, since i bought the PC through a company, that custom-builds PCs back in 2012. For the cooling, i have no clue as to what is neccessary, but i've heard that AMD GPUs typically run a lot hotter than Nvidia, and tend to need better cooling all around. I would also like to OC if possible. My current speccs look like this: https://i.imgur.com/wyrWsF9.png And last, but not least, what i expect from the build: I'd like to run GTA V at High/Ultra settings, at around the 60 FPS mark. I'm also wating for Fallout 4 to release, but if it runs GTA at nice speeds, it should be able to do Fallout 4 just fine. My budget is around 700-900€, i'm a little flexible, but would like to stay around the 600-700€ mark. Thank you for reading!
  7. Well yeah, I don't really know how i'm going to handle this other than buying a new GPU in time for Fallout 4.
  8. Well, i wasn't the one who built the PC, since i bought it through a website with Custom-built PC's back in 2012 (ohh god never again). The warranty on the PC itself ran out last year .
  9. So, i did both, and nothing changed. This is getting really strange...
  10. After another restart, i let the pc run for a few minutes, and it still looks like that..: http://i.imgur.com/MBxPi23.png I have no idea what's going on here
  11. Welp, that kinda is my problem, since even Afterburner seems to be acting up. I even restarted my pc after getting these results: http://i.imgur.com/1yE2CWV.png
  12. So, i installed MSI Afterburner, and tried playing some New Vegas, to see if the meters bumped. After i left the game, this fell right into my vision: http://i.imgur.com/1yE2CWV.png The second part og the GPU is jumping around those numbers, and i have no clue how it's possible - it might be a bug though, since the temperature on the second GPU is only increased by 4 celsius, compared to the first part of the GPU.
  13. I have all drivers installed through Nvidia Experience, yes.
