    pc wont recognize graphic card.

Same thing happened to me once, I updated the BIOS on my motherboard and then it worked. I would recommend trying that.

Help finding a pair of decent earbuds

I am looking for a pair of earbuds that are higher quality than what I've owned in the past as I usually buy cheap $40ish pairs. I don't know much about audio specs but I want something that can play bass that won't sound like static and have good highs/mids. Do these exist in earbuds? I listen exclusively to Melodic Death Metal and Core/Djent if that makes a difference on what you recommend. I use an iPod classic so they must be wired and if possible I would like a volume adjust/track skip on the cord. I know audio can be subjective but I'm looking for a starting point. My price range is $150 CAD max, hopefully something exists in this price range.

    Should I update my BIOS?

Re-installing Windows may be a better option than a bios update, however sometimes bios updates do provide better compatibility with certain products. Could also be a PSU issue, but my guess is as good as any. It's really trial and error when it comes to this stuff.

    Should I update my BIOS?

How many HDD/SSD's are you using? It could be the result of a drive failing. Even though the drive may function fine when you use it, it can cause the system to hang and do other weird things. I know because I've had issues like this in the past and pulling the drive fixed my problems. Not sure if a BIOS update would help, but do so at your own risk.

    acpi bios error

I just updated the bios and it seems to have fixed the issue. However now it kills the mouse/keyboard on the windows install screen yet they work in the bios. Any suggestions?

    acpi bios error

I am trying to install Windows 7 from a flash drive, but it failed from DVD as well. The PSU is a Seasonic X-400FL powering 1 SSD, 2 HDD, 1 Bluray Disc Drive. It should be more than adequate.

    acpi bios error

I just bought a Ryzen 2200G, MSI B450M Mortar and 2x4G HyperX DDR4 for my dad to use as HTPC but I'm getting ACPI error when I try to install windows. Do I have a bad motherboard or do I need to update the bios? Do I have bad RAM? How can I fix this?

    Anyone?

    Network not showing shared folder

Can someone please tell me why Windows won't share my folder? I have two computers one on Win10 the other on Win7. I was able to share before I formatted my Win10 machine but when I tried to set up a new share folder it won't show on my Win7 PC anymore. I went into the properties and made it a share folder, changed permissions to full control and checked all the boxes in the security tab as well to full control. Even in network settings I have network discovery on, file and printer sharing on, and disabled sharing password yet I do not see the folder when its empty or with items in it no matter how much I restart both machines. Please help.

    HTPC Build

I am looking to put together a low budget HTPC for 4K playback. Budget is no more than $350 CAD including tax/shipping, but less is better. I already have Windows10, GT1030, Seasonic X460FL, SSD, several HDD's and a case. I just need CPU/MOBO/RAM and this is what I picked https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/8NrkYr I probably only need 8GB of ram - Is it better to do a single stick of 8GB or 2x4GB? Is that motherboard ok, or will it cause me issues? - the reviews I've seen are conflicting. Is there any reason I should go Intel instead of AMD? Thanks in advance.

    Is my GPU defective?

I need it to display via HDMI, my other computer is not in the same room and the monitor I use doesn't have HDMI. Here's a bit more info... The GT 1030 works fine with the DVI port, no signal problems. I will also mention before I reinstalled windows I did test the card on the system it would be going into which was running Windows 7 via HDMI and it did work on Windows 7, but now on Windows 10 it does not. With my fresh install of Windows 10 I have now just swapped in my Radeon 6450 and was able to display a full boot into Windows via HDMI. Also tried the onboard graphics and no problems there either. The GT 1030 cannot give me a signal past the bios. Seriously, this is dumb AF, I really think its got a defect.

    Is my GPU defective?

If you mean to press the windows key and P together, that didn't work As far as I can tell it is disabled. I did take out the GPU and put it back in, still doesn't work.
