  1. Update: I figured out that my problem was in NVIDIA control panel. I had to go to manage 3D settings and then switch power management mode from optimal power (which is default for some reason) to prefer maximum performance.
  2. Thanks for the quick replies! Also I should probably ask him what his video settings are set to, when I looked at his game irl it didn't appear that he had his draw distance way down or textures super low or anything. It's most likely one setting in that's fussy with my parts.
  3. Yes I have seen his rig and his fps counter in person because i thought he was bullshitting
  4. Parts: CPU: Intel i7-4790k @4.4 Ghz Motherboard: MSI Z97 LGA 1150 RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaw X series 16gb (4 X 4 gb) GPU: MSI Gaming X 8G 1080 Case: NZXT H230 Storage: #1 Crucial MX100 256GB SATA SDD #2 3TB WD Black #3 2TB WD Green PSU: Corsair CX750M Display(s): #1 ViewSonic VX2252MH 22-Inch 60hz #2 Acer GN246HL 144hz Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Chroma Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Sound: Logitech G430 Operating System: Windows 10 64bit Although I'm way past the glorious master race FPS standards in the menu staring out into the ocean, when I'm in game even in low-pop servers I only get like 40-55 FPS. Sounds like an unnecessary complaint but with the kind of hardware I'm packing I should be getting more FPS. Also my buddy who has the same processor and a Gtx 980 is getting 88 FPS while playing in the same server as me. This is on stratis wasteland if that helps. Any recommendations on how to increase my frames? I play Arma with these settings:

  6. And really the only reason i was even considering an upgrade was for arma 3 apex, because my fps is shit on the new tanoa map
  7. This is my monitor, using dvi for 144hz And 750 watt isn't a good psu? would getting a new one improve performance at all? Mouse: Razer deathadder chroma keyboard: razer deathstalker headset: logitech g430
