I have an OEM version of windows, so they shouldn't give me support though right?

Hey guys, I have a i5 4460 on a H97 chipset, and I want to upgrade to a 6600k. Obviously I would have to buy a new motherboard, and I want to go with the z170 chipset, but im a little worried about replacing my motherboard. Is it true that changing mobos, especially switching chipsets, can mess with windows? If so, how can I work around this. I would really prefer to not have to reformat my machine. While im here, does anyone have any recommendations for a nice z170 MATX mobo? Thanks EDIT: Im using windows 10, if that makes any difference!

Hey guys, Very recently I started having an issue where I couldn't join source servers through lobby features. An example of this being Casual mode from TF2. If I try to join, I will find a game, but then will fail to connect to the server. I discovered that if I turned off my Firewall in windows, I could connect to these servers. I thought maybe tf2 wasnt allowed in the firewall, but after checking, it was! This is present in L4D2 as well, where I can not connect to servers through the lobby features in that game. However in something like Overwatch, the lobby features work perfectly.

Cool giveaway, If I don't end up winning the mice here I might just buy one myself, they look perfect for me as a claw grip gamer. Right now I use a Roccat Kone XTD (My 2nd one!) I love it from the bottom of my heart, best mouse I've ever used. I have a brand new Senheiser HD558 headset, just got it today, and am using a Corsair K70 RGB. Can't complain at all about my setup

Hey there Kriss, Just wanted to say that it's not actually for sure that you will go back to silver 1 here, and I'm speaking from experience. Back when I was a Gold Nova Master (I'm a DMG now), I lost my rank and when I played again I got GN3 (1 rank below). So if you do really well you have a chance to boost your rank, if not then have fun in silver 1
