  1. The adapter I posted wouldn't work or.. ?
  2. So i'd have to get this: http://arvutitark.ee/est/TOOTEKATALOOG/vga+display+port/LOGILINK-Adapter-Mini-DisplayPort-to-VGA-41628
  3. Hey! So I got a new acer monitor which only has a VGA port. I used my VGA to DVI adapter and I chained that to DVI to DP adapter but once I hook it all up to my GFX card (Sapphire HD7950 OC) I get a no signal warning. Is there a way around this or is it just not possible to use multiple adapters on one signal?! Thanks!
  4. yo dudes and dudettes. suggest me a good cherry mx blue keyboard for less than 100 euros (it probably wont be sold in Estonia, so if keyboard+shipping would fall under 100 euros would be great) i prefer it without numpad, but what matters to me the most is blue cherry mx switches and solid for gaming
  5. I suggest getting a 670 cause nobody knows when the 770 will actually be released!
  6. Sure thing man, a lot of those CPU's are gifts from other Estonians :) Once I get all the excel and pictures and website stuff worked out I'll keep this thread updated.
  7. All of them are unique. There's also some really rare ones from Cyrix/Sony/Motorola etc. :) Building a website and creating an excel spreadsheet atm. :P
  8. So, my dear brother has been collecting CPU's since 2003. Yesterday he drew over and gave it to me to start collecting, since he just doesn't have time. The oldest CPU in the collection goes back to year 1976. There's over 500 CPU's in there and only about 400 are categorized. http://imgur.com/U6sVTUd,A9Km6iU,YrrauTX,Z5Oy9Gy,n85Cqfj,2arScsB#0 There's a brief overview of the stuff. Now I gotta sort them all, get them all in an excel spreadsheet, get HD pictures of them and put them up on a website that I'm currently working on to have a nice overview. Any ideas, suggestions or stuff ? :)

  11. If the budget allows you and IF you do any multithreaded tasks (encoding, streaming, rendering etc.), then go for the 3770k. If you're only gaming, then the 3570k will be a BEAST!
  12. Yea I figured it out already. I bought a DVI to Mini-DP converter and gonna run my current (soon to be old and secondary) monitor off of that and then plug my new XL2411T into the original DVI-D that my current monitor is using. Thanks to all for suggesting ideas tho! :)
  13. Hey, so I was gonna buy a 120hz monitor for FPS gaming: BenQ XL2411T. The problem is, I think I'm in trouble with video card inputs. I have a Sapphire 7950 OC and that has a DVI-D, 2 mini display ports and a HDMI port. Afaik the HDMI and mini-dp cannot support 120hz and the DVI-D is already occupied by my current Syncmaster P2350 (which I intend to keep), so where do I plug in the new 120hz monitor ? Thanks for your help and replies! :)
  14. Just be aware you won't get any performance improvements at all from watercooling it. It will look awesome though. He will get a huge headroom on OC tho, which technically means better performance :)
  15. They will go down, but probably up to a point where the price drops will stop and start to lower more slowly as the time passes.
  16. Open up Prime95 and run a small FTT test for a while. You'll notice your CPU load will reach quite high and it will start to put out lots of heat - that's normal. If it crashes during the P95 test, then you have instability issues which are quite hard to resolve. I'd start with updating the bios and checking your voltages. If the problem occurs I'd try to format my boot disk and install windows again, just to make sure its not a software issue. If the problem still occurs then I'd try switching the CPU/MOBO/GPU from my system. (the last part could be tricky, if you don't have any relatives/friends who could help you out by lending they'r components to you). Anyways, try those steps out and keep us updated. Best wishes - cheti e// And yea, 620W is enough.
  17. Hey, just bought this keyboard for 15 bucks, but theres one problem: The backlight keeps flickering on and off at some points throughout the day. Is there a fix for that ?
  18. http://kremlin.planet.ee/pildid/3D%20MARK%20AMD%20vs%20NVIDIA.jpg That should answer your question. :) Best wishes - cheti
  19. Don't use CCC, its buggy as hell for me. Download and install MSI afterburner. Unlock the voltage control and turn the volts to about 1.25 (1250 millivolts). With those voltages I got my Sapphire 7950OC to 1150/1575.
  20. Yeap, as people have stated before - don't let it go over 70C in P95 and you'll be fine. Even tho at AMD websites, it's stated that 61C is the max temp, but keep in mind, that during the P95 test your CPU will be immensely stressed and in day-to-day operation (even heavy games and encoding). You won't be able to stress the CPU as much.
  21. It's still extremely good. Overclock the 2500k and it will chew through anything you throw at it. It's only 7% better than the 3570k clock for clock, so don't worry about missing out on performance. For $100 bucks it's really good!
