Hello everyone. I'm looking into getting a smaller case for my MicroATX build. I'm currently using a Fractal Design ARC Mini R2 (I love it) but am wanting to go smaller so I can transport it. I'm also getting an itch to rebuild again. My hardware is a full size PSU, MSI GTX 1070 and NZXT Kraken AIO. The smaller the better as I'd like a challenge in regards to getting everything nice and snug and its more convninient. I would go with an Mini ITX however I don't want to spend money on a new motherboard and all the bits to go with it. Thanks guys

Hello everyone. I bought some braided cables for my GPU a long time ago, and its bugged me enough to finally correct it. In the photo below you can see the left one is working fine. However you may notice the right connector isn't braided. That is because the braided cable needed this weird extension thing to work. What is it, and where can I find the correct braided one to replace it? The GPU is an MSI GTX 1070 Thank you.

I'll have to go to a local PC place and try a few mice. The keyboard could just do with a good clean.

I've had it since at least 2014 and personally don't find it the most comfortable, I'd like to try something new too. Problem is I like to have all my peripherals by the same company so I don't have loads of drivers and software just for my peripherals.

Just a random question and want to know everyone's opinions. I have a Corsair M65 with a button missing, and the middle mouse barely working, and a corsair k70 which is still going relatively strong. I definitely need to upgrade my mouse, but do I change my keyboard too? Whats your thoughts.

I've done that and also cleaned my drives with Windirstat and The Forest is running better, still freezes rather often. I haven't yet tried my other games.

My hard drive is very full. Could this be a reason for it being slow? I started recording with shadowplay and it has stopped doing it (The Forest). Its so weird

All drivers are up to date. PUBG works, same with Euro Truck Simulator. The Forest & Rainbow 6 doesn't It's really weird and incredibly frustrating, I could provide some footage if you'd like.

Hello! A few days ago a lot of my games have been acting strangely. I was playing The Forest at the time and all of a sudden it just freezes every 5-10 seconds for like 30 seconds at a time, and its doing this with various other games too. I have no idea what the problem is, and it doesn't look like a temperature problem. Please help!

Would a small motherboard be good, he is somewhat space restricted since his rooms shape is rather awkward, and he has a small desk.

PSU and hard drive should be okay. I think the PSU is some sort of 500w one, perhaps silverstone. I'm not too sure and he has no idea whats in his system. Case is one of them cheap gaming-styled cases that a lot of pre-mades come in.

I'm not sure on the current parts apart from the GPU, but his cpu is a really, really bad AMD chip. Budget is around 400-500

Hey guys, I'd like to request some assistance with an upgrade/new PC build for my brother. Hes currently got a bad AMD chip with a Radeon R9 270X, which is certainly bottlenecked. He's also been having technical issues with blue screens on windows 7, and with his birthday upcoming my father and I would like to get him an upgrade. This will be for 1080p gaming in games such as Fallout 4, Overwatch, and other AAA games that may be upcoming. Something that is future-proof would be great too. The platinum has less macro keys, the normal has all 12 of them I think.

So should be voltage and ghz be jumping around so much from 20% or less activity?

Seems to fluctuate a lot, from 5-20% when i'm just doing every day stuff as shown there
