  1. I don't expect anything, I don't care one bit what the tag says on any article of clothing, I just want underwear that fits and not have to go through the hassle of returning. If I gotta order a XXXL size then so be it!
  2. Damn so confused now, I'm gonna have to contact customer service before ordering. Sounds like I'd wanna order Medium yet the size chart says XL.
  3. Yeah, I'm familiar with Asian sizing, just never experienced it with the boys down under before
  4. I know but I really don't trust than I'm an XL and a M in everything else... Hopefully someone who's bought recently will chime in to be sure! I'm betting there's no exchange or refund on these items (for good reason)
  5. So, I bought the first gen underwear many years ago and they are size medium (a bit snug after washing) and I'm considering buying more but the product page and reviews: https://www.lttstore.com/products/mens-underwear-3-pack-green-purple-black?_pos=6&_fid=4dcd17cea&_ss=c say to pay very close attention to the new sizing and guide. I'm about 5'9 180 (although I plan on losing 10-15lbs this spring), and measured my waist where my underwear actually sits and it's 38 inches. Should I really get the XL?
  6. Thanks for your input Omon! I think the wireless speaker idea is sort of dead to me really. It just replaces one cable with another and I think it would be easy enough to run the speakerwire under the rug as ender suggested, but it's nice to have the option and your placement ideas seem plausible. Probably what I will do is start out with a 3.1 system and then add the rears at a later date. Lacking the center channel is really terrible for speech in movies and it's driving us crazy. placing the center channel has it's own challenges with my set up but I think I can rig up a solution.... Maybe it's time to mount the TV to the wall.
  7. Hey thanks for the advice!! Sort of have a receiver picked out Sony STR-AN1000, leaving around 1k for speakers. It uses "Digital Cinema Auto Calibration IX" which I'm not sure uses a microphone or not... If it doesn't I can keep weighing my options. For the placement, you might be on to a good idea there. Would those rears be a bit too close though? Another nice thing with the Sony receiver is it's sonos compatible. I wonder their surrounds would be good enough to put on in the corner next to the wall flag and one above the black cabinet on the east wall.... There is AC power available both locations.
  8. Hey yall. Got a effed up room and I'm planning a HT upgrade. Currently have Kanto speakers, no receiver. Polk PSW111 sub. Looking to go to a 5.1 or whatever you nerds suggest. Would like to stay under $2000. Was originally thinking about wireless surrounds but I hear there's no good solution that's affordable. So my issue now is where to I put them and how to hide wires. North wall probably a good spot in the corner beside the wallflag, but then it would be not the same angle as the opposite side... South wall West wall. Should I just put the speaker where the big picture is? it would be in front of the listener which is not ideal? East wall. Would rather not have to hide cables to cross the hallway but it would be better positioning right? Appreciate everyone's input tyvm!
  9. Yeah Im about to test out plex now on my TV using my gaming PC. Is it possible to just plug in my HDD to my router and use plex that way or do I need a NAS appliance?
  10. What I have - 3 household smart TV's, A very good asus router, a USB external 10TB HDD with movies, TV shows, a modern gaming computer (that I use for gaming and prefer to keep as barebones as possible). What I want to achieve - Have the TV's be able to watch the content from the HDD. Bonus points for a nice interface like plex or whatever. What's my best route? Do I need to buy a NAS or is the USB HDD good enough? I am a novice at best for setting up network stuff. Can anyone recomend a tutorial for whatever would be the best solution? Thanks for your help LTT brethren.
  11. Ugreen has a 5.3 dongle. https://www.amazon.ca/UGREEN-Bluetooth-5-Devices-Transmitter-Receiver/dp/B0BXF13GB7/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=MUqMh&content-id=amzn1.sym.3049db8c-cb9c-47bd-945b-0a7647ebbf22%3Aamzn1.symc.fe3f7234-3dea-4997-9e47-911958a7c3d3&pf_rd_p=3049db8c-cb9c-47bd-945b-0a7647ebbf22&pf_rd_r=CYT63P9EJVY8RN257XRV&pd_rd_wg=6EQEK&pd_rd_r=908b9c21-95b8-4081-bb75-a650b33cf7dc&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d Personally, I'm waiting for 5.4 since the latency is half that of aptx without the compression. Not sure what's taking so long, seems like theres no 5.4 anything on the market.
  12. Welp, Sorry to waste everyones time with this post. I think I'll just get a cheap 32 inch TV and ditch the chromecast. Too much hassle either hooking up a HDMI switch or buying expensive adapter.,
  13. Ok thanks... Looks challenging to find an HDMI to displayport displayport to HDMI seems common though. Am I being a dummy?
  14. So I would need to buy a dock (3rd party is OK?) and an adapter cable? I heard the HDMI to DP cables are single-direction and don't work. I'd have to get an expensive active cable? If so I'm probably better off just buying him a TV.
