  5. So I decided to go with a raid 0 ssd for my pc, however, I ran into this problem. After I set up my raid 0 (after I enable it via bios) and continue on with win 7 instalation I run into this problem "Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware" Any idea how to f ix this issue? Edit: just posting the steps I take. Connect my SSDs to mobo (I dont disconnect them, just saying where I started) while pc starts up mash furiously del key enter bios>advanced bios go to sata configuration select raid mode pc reboots I press ctrl+i to enter raid config rename volume0 to Raid 0 choose raid (striping) choose that 128kb size 223.6 create raid volume pc reboots and enter win 7 instalation I select disc 0 (the only one with data available, btw no other disc is present) win 7 completes instalation and reboots it stays on "completing instalation" then I get that "Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware" Another update: I can install win 7x64 ultimate on my SSD (non raid) FIXED: I downloaded Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver Software and installed during os instalation (just click on drivers OS will look through your usb drive and pick what it can use)
  6. Is there an official Linus FTB (feed the beast) server running? And just in case you are wondering what the hell is FTB, it is minecraft with about 200+ mods that expand on what you can do. E.g. you can create a nuclear reactor that may meltdown and destroy everything in its radius, you can craft quantum armor or even create an industrial craft town. The game becomes as complex as one wants it to be. Direwolf20 makes nice guides and reviews for most current mods.
  7. I am replacing my mobo with the same kind (I think I damaged my first one) and was wondering if I need to do a clean install for my OS.
  8. Now my precision X recognizes both cards so at least I can regulate some things for now until I get another identical card, but thank you guys for the help!
  9. Hmm so after I looked closer at each GPU I noticed a sticker on the back. My original car was 560 ti Superclocked 1GB but the other one is Superclocked to 2GB XD The seller sold it as 1GB so I just assumed everything was correct, But thank you guys for the speedy techtipcs ( couldn't resist haha) :) Would it work if I switch cards around? Shouldn't that make the 2gb under-clock and perform as 1gb instead? TL;DR I goofed and should have looked even closer at each card.
  10. Asus P8p67 m-pro Thanks guys, I'll back after doing that
  11. 12. Ah I see, now that I am looking at the panel where would the option be? I clicked through all of the options on the left-hand side of the nVidia Control panel and did not find anything relating to SLI :( But if I go to Device manager or just click home button in nVidia control panel it shows that I have 2x GTX 560 ti NCP options as followed 3D Setting Display Stereoscopic 3D Video
  13. So I got my self another 560 ti to try SLI for now to see if I would like to do it in the future. But I have never done it in the past. So here is what I did to my system. 1. Restarted my pc to get into bios 2. Looked around in my p8p67 m-pro asus mobo bios settings to see anything relating SLI 3. Didnt see anything shut down my pc 4. Shoved that second 560 ti as if it was a piece of cake and that PCIE slot was mah mouth 5. Used SLI bridge 6. Booted up my pc When I looked around in my Precision X program it only showed one GPU not two, and that got me wondering if I enabled SLI at all... Any help would be appreciated :D
