    I got mine this evening which is 1, 002, 39 Metres I'm quite pleased so I thought I would share this video and see if anyone else had anymore videos to share or distance's. I'm not on par with that Russian guy yet but it's a start lol. I'm aware I sound like a 12 year old girl in the video but I was trying to beat my friends distance of 800 metres. I've only been PC gaming a month as well, before everyone rips me to pieces lol!

    I've been playing now for around two weeks so pretty new, it's a struggle going from a console pad to keyboard and mouse but I'm starting to get the grasp of it now. The video I posted was from a Noob server lol! Thanks for the tips greatly appreciated.

    Cheer's Swndlr! I put hours into trying to become a rapper like Eminem when I was younger and that didn't turn out to well haha! I'm staying postive on Kills to deaths now at least! last week I was 2 kills and 20 deaths lol

    I've recently switched from XBOX to PC after building a cheap gaming rig and I'm loving it, the first game I've got into is Battlefield 4 and I'm only just starting to get the hang of using keyboard and mouse as opposed to the controller. If anyone has any tips or anyone fancies a game then please feel free to get in touch. I want to get good at sniping mainly so if there are any good snipers out there hit me up! I have posted my latest below and I'd love to hear you criticism constructive or trolling lol! I was way to excited when I got the noob tube kill at the start lol!

    Ah I've just looked it up, I never get lucky so this is nice, I thought all CPU's could be clocked the same. With a new board I'll be pushing for 5ghz then lol.

    I will upgrade the board in a few months but I hope now it should last seen as the volts are running slightly lower than it was at stock.

    I've gone down to 4.7ghz at .1 volts lower than it was at stock. The temperature is idle at 32c and it only got to 72c after running Aida 64 for five minutes.

    Cheers for the advice I will go back to the drawing board I think. I've been playing Battlefield 3 for two hours and it has been ok but like you say it's probably not worth the risk just to squeeze the most performance out of it which I suppose won't even be that noticeable.

    haha! Sam's making me feel confident. Maybe I should roll it back some more. Maybe 4.8 and try and bring the temps down as it's a shite board.

    haha! Ye I've been told my board isn't the best lol. I really didn't know what I was looking at. I was looking at what looked pretty lol. Thanks for the info ManklkWeet I'll wait to see what other people say after everyone else has taken the piss out of me more for my Motherboard.

    Hi, I'm new to PC gaming after many years been on console. I brought some pc parts a couple of weeks ago to build my first system and I was happy with the performance however after watching some of Linus's videos on Youtube I fancied trying out overclocking myself. Here are some of the parts which I am running: KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 OC Silent "Infin8 Black Edition" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor Corsair Vengeance RED 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600Mhz Dual Channel Kit Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply Asus B85-PLUS Intel B85 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard I also brought a fancy Corsair gaming mouse and keyboard because I thought it would make me invincible on games lol but it really doesn't help it turns out. Anyway yesterday I brought the Corsair H100i so I could try out some overclocking, didn't fancy it on the stock intel cooler. I have the chip now running at 4.9ghz (see screenshot below). The PC is temperature when running AIDA64 for five minutes at 4.9ghz is 83c. Is this safe? When it's idle it run's at around 29 / 30c. To get it running stable I had to ramp up the voltage to 1.315. So the main questions I really have are; Is the temperature of 80c safe when the CPU is under 100% load, I imagine when I'm playing games it's not going to be stressing it that much? is it ok to have the volts running at 1.315 What do people recommend overclocking the i7-4790k to?
