  1. I've just stress tested my entire system with the fuzzy doughnut of death, occt and aida 64 and it was perfect with each test. Yet I still get the weird second screen behaviour. See video for said behaviour. FullSizeRender.MOV
  2. So the past few weeks, I've been crashing out of vrchat. The world audio continues to stay up to date, people talking loops every 10 seconds to what was said before the crash. Only the last rendered frame is displayed and if I look away I fade into the steam vr background. Probs a gpu crash. I've also been experiencing weird white lines in my headset now and again that come and go randomly. And now I also saw one on my desktop after a vrc crash (see photo) check top of screen. My second monitor has become useless for any sort of intensive work, (photoshop, substance painter both Adobe and the old version) those are the most noticeable programs. If these are on my second monitor I get flickering, stuttering both video and audio, audio not from the program stutter too, the UI flashes too. So far I've yeeted my oc out the window, the card is clean as is the slot and dust free. Card doesn't reach above 70 degrees under load. Reinstalled drivers with clean install (there was no newer driver), ran Ccleaner and malwatebytes. It got a great score in time spy benchmark and also passed timespy 20minute stress test with 98.1% highest fps of 102.85 and lowest of 101.03. This passed with the oc on. Is my gpu on the way out or should I be looking elsewhere?
  3. So my current laptop is a Late 2016 Razer Blade Stealth and I bought it december 2016, ive kept hold of it this whole time for one reason, I got my Dbrand skin signed by Linus, Luke and colton at LTX2017 (wanted to get the rest of the team but couldnt grab them when they were free). Im getting a new Laptop soon as I wanna treat myself to a new one as im finally going to uni and will be getting a DBrand Skin for the new laptop too and would love to get it signed by the team, due to covid the next LTX is a while away. now this is the crazy long shot part, but if i didnt ask i would never know. What would be awesome is if i could ship my order to the LMG office to get it signed by as many members of the LTT, SC, TL, CSF, TQ team as possible and then ship it to its final destination (all costs paid my me) this scenario wouldnt happen untill late summer anyways as also i appreciate alot of the team are working from home. Honestly this is such a long shot if anyone see's this but yea, you dont ask, you dont get
  4. So, I bought a DBrand Grip last june and my partner did too, now his started falling apart in november of last year, a mere 5 months after buying it. The soft shell part started to come away from the hard shell around the edges of the phone, he contacted DBrand and they sent him a replacement. And now yet another 5 months later this new one is failing in the same way. I thought it was an isolated incident with the first case, maybe a bad batch from that time but now the new one has done the same... and the icing on the cake as it were is now mine has done the same, it fell apart in January of this year, 6 months from purchase date, so ofcourse I contacted DBrand support in pursuit of a new case and that would be the end of that. I would have been perfectly happy with a new Grip. But no... Now my partner has a OnePlus 6T for context and I have the Samsung S10 Plus. When I contacted their support I was Implicitly told that essentially they dont make them for the S10 Plus anymore. At that time the phone from release date wasnt even a year old. They discontinued a case for a 1year old flagship device... and yet if you look at their site its firstly still listed but just as out of stock, secondly they still carry cases for phones years older. What im trying to get at here is that firstly DBrands ongoing device support for the Grip is shockingly bad and secondly (more importantly) the quality of the device is abysaml. It costs £40 and has worse build quality than cases ive had for this phone that cost less than half that. This isnt exactly an isolated incident, a few friends of mine bought the Grip on my recommendation and they've had theirs fall apart to. They havent even bothered to get a replacement just asked for their money back and gone back to their old case. In their opinion if it falls apart once. Its not worth their time and energy waiting for the next one to do that, and they are correct due to the partners second one failing too. When I did contact their support I did eventually get my money back for the case but to be honest thats really not the point of all of this. The point is the quality of the product is awful and their long term device support is just as bad. (for the grip at least). Im kinda interested to see if this has happened to anyone else, has anyone else had issues with their grip or know anyone who has. Currently Im having to superglue my case back together every few weeks whilst I save up to purchase my old solution for every phone ive had before this. A Rhinoshield Bumper case, and a DBrand Skin. Least that case doesnt fall to pieces after a few months...
  5. That was my first idea but i already have a x62 for my cpu and there isnt space for another radiator in my case h400i without doing a single small 120 rad at the back, im no expert when it comes to watercooling a gpu but i dont reckon thats enough and brand new I saw the email alert fly in and nabbed 2 immediatly
  6. So I just bought this card (https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Graphics-Card/GV-N208STURBO-8GC#kf) I got it on an insanly good deal (£200) so i snapped one up as soon as i saw the price drop. Its not what I would usually gor for being a blower style and no RGB, I was wondering if it would be possible to transplant a differnent cooler onto card from say an aorus windforce card but im having trouble finding board maps of both the cards. First considered a custom loop but nowhere seems to do a block for the card either. Just fielding answers , my first idea is to flip the card for retail price xD
  7. 9700k Asus z370 g mobo We've juggled ram sticks, plugged into the on board video and taken the gpu out. The cpu memory controller is powering up, no power to the USB ports however. The cpu and the ram is posting but the the white, orange and yellow led aren't showing which are vga then start up... Any ideas, we've tried flashing the bios
  8. i cant get it to click in, i push to the point im scared for the life of my motherboard, theres no cables around, ive looked in the slot and none of the pins are bent or anything. Just reinserted it a 3rd time but no click, still broken
  9. Today all i did was change my cables out for some new high end corsair cables and add a couple new fans, For this i had to take out my gpu and put it back in a while later, installing it is a bit finiky as i have a micro atx case but it went in. The issue im having is in the photos/videos, some awful artifacting. Ive reinstalled the gpu since then, (i cant get it to click into place into the PCIE slot though, however i cant remember if they do click.) and ive checked the power cable is fully in on both the gpu and psu and reinserted it on both ends. I dont know what this could be (I cant try another pcie slot as i cant access the other one on my mobo VID_20180227_213000.mp4
