unfortunately, I'm from Denmark is this also the case if you use a "power bar" that doesn't have a wire attached to it, like this one. http://www.harald-nyborg.dk/p7290/stikdaase-dobbelt-med-jord I know that "power bar" isn't the right word for it, but I just couldn't be bothered to look it up

My wifi sucks, so I have decided to buy a powerline kit. and I was wondering, if you could use it in a socket extender?

hi. Guys, I recently moved to a new place with internet included since I was using my isp router, I had to get a new one. I went to a garage sale and picked up a cheap router. since I started have been using this router I have experienced lag spikes. I have tested my connection with ethernet, and I didn't experience any lag spikes. the problem with this is however that I can't have an ethernet cable across the entire house.

so a few days back my keyboard stopped working. i've narrowed the list down to these two keyboard, but i can't decide which keyboard i should choose, i like the looks of both of them, however i've heard the 6gv2 key prints fades pretty quickly. and for the switches i don't have a preference, i've tried the mx black and didn't find these tough to use.

how to know if i damaged the motherboard
Miksnake replied to Miksnake's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
thanks that clears up alot in regards to the 8 pin connector it was actually the motherboard itself that blocked the 8 pin from going through the cable hole thingy which was why i had to uninstall it -

i had problem with my case "corsair 200r" which prevented me from hiding the 8 pin cpu connector behind the motherboard thay. so i took everything apart and when i tried to install the motherboard again i heard some very quiet noises(when i pushed it against the io), so i took it apart again to check for physical damage, i can't see any and i can still boot up and everything. but i just want to make sure that there isn't going to be any long term damage

so i have a board that supports one pci 3.0 x16 and pci 2.0 x16. i have heard that this dosen't really make a difference since pci 2.0 x16 is equal to pci 3.0 x8 and most motherboards downgrade the lane anyway to x8. have i understood this right? i hope this makes sense
