Hey all, So I'm looking to get into UHD HDR Blurays. I have an Xbox One S already so that part is sorted, so now I'm looking for a TV to go with it. I'm looking for something for around 400/500€. Right now I have my eyes on this on amazon, as it has good reviews, has all the features I need, is from a reputable brand and is an "Amazon's Choice" but I am looking for your guys' opinions

Hey all, So i've put in my order for an 8GB RX 580, and am curious. Should i get a 1440P 60Hz FreeSync monitor or a 1080p 144Hz FreeSync. I know the 580 can do 1440p and high/ultra 60FPS.

Yeah, so nothings changed then, guess i'm spending a weekend doing it manually -
Hey all, So im planing on overclocking my 4690k in the next few weeks, i'm just waiting on a new power supply to arrive. I had a look over this video from Linus about it from 2014 and was just curious, he mentions bumping up the voltage if a test fails up to about a max of 1.3v. What increments should i do these voltage bumps in? Is increments of 0.05v too much? Not enough? On a related note, does ASUS' Ai Suite still pump too much voltage to the CPU with its auto overclocking feature or have they fixed it since this video aired? I already use Ai Suite for my fans. Any other tips for an overclocking noob is appreciated too Thanks

Hey all, So i'm getting pretty annoyed with my 120GB SSD being constantly full, and was looking to get a WD Blue or similar M.2 SSD around the 250GB/500GB mark, as my 2.5' bays are full, but i can't make heads or tails of whether or not my board supports it, On PC Part picker it tells me 2 SATA Ports are disabled to make way for M.2 (Someone here said #5 and #6 a few years back). Does it do this automagically? Do i have to fart about in BIOS to get it to work? Am I going to be getting the rated performance of the Drive after its set up? All help is appreciated The Drive im leaning to: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/External-Solid-State-Drives/WD-Internal-Solid-State-Drive/B01LY154MY/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1502332369&sr=1-7&keywords=m.2%2Bssd&th=1 My Board: https://www.asus.com/ie/Motherboards/Z97K/

Ok,sorry for being this late, but i was quite busy. Memtest cleared 2 passes just fine. I installed 17.1.2 fresh with DDU last night and extensively tested it and the recording in DOOM and CSGO. I got pretty bad frame dips in CS,when i was recording and even when I wasn't. Other than a few minor hiccups (like certain clips not being able to be played back),it worked beautifully. Thanks @Nena360 for all the help.

Only 8. If this fails this could explain the shit performance in FH3...
-
Ill give that a go overnight, thanks.
-
Im going to try 17.1.1 tomorrow and see how that goes.
-
Recommend any tools for that? Dont have another to try Im trying to delay that, but might have to
-
Im running 16.11.5 stable right now,but i really want those recording features.

Hey all, So i tried to upgrade to the RE-Live drivers but every time i do,whether it be by DDU or the installer,it crashes every 5 minutes to a black screen and with it saying "wattman has crashed" when it recovers.. Im starting to think its my PSU, a (hastily bought without thought) FSP Hyper 500. I realised last week that it doesnt have enough headroom to overclock nearly at all. Could this PSU be causing the crashes? Im thinking about getting the corsair cx650m grey unit to replace it,but idk. Specs : MSI R9 380 4GB I5-4690K HyperX 2x4GB Kit FSP Hyper 500 PSU
