  1. I've just upgraded my whole PC and as such did a fresh install of Windows 11. For some reason on startup my PC always forgets that my Focusrite is plugged in, and I have to re plug it back in for the PC to recognise it. Is there a way to fix this?

    Boot Pop Ups

I checked my startup and the only thing turned on is iCUE, so I imagine it could be that causing it?

    Boot Pop Ups

Whenever my PC boots I always get two pop ups on start up that I have to confirm which is quite annoying, they are: ASUS Optimization Startup Task ASUS Hotkey Is there any way to stop these constantly popping up?
  4. nvidia overlay puts gpu utilisation at 90%+ - suppose this could probably be the solution to knowing which part to upgrade? Outside of ESO am I likely to see more improvements by changing cpu though, as newer games come out?
  5. Higher fps, in 4k during trials it can sometimes dip to 40fps, and a solid 60 would be nice
  6. Any benefit to getting the 5900x over the 5800x, or is it just marginally better?
  7. Budget (including currency): £1000-1500 (GBP) Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (ESO) - 4k Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 6700k - 2070 Super Wondering what is the best upgrade currently to get more gaming performance. I'm thinking CPU because my 6700k is reasonably old now and they seem a lot easier to get hold of than gpus but which would give me the most performance upgrade for 4k gaming? *edit* Is this also a bad time to upgrade? Is new stuff due to be coming out in the next few months?
  8. Thanks for this, yes part of my worry is the new cards coming out soon, but I don't want to dump money into something that will be a stepping stone so to speak. Any advice?
  9. 980Ti wasn't quite satisfying me no, I was starting to look for upgrades. This is another reason why I'm unsure of the upgrade due to new cards potentially coming out later this year
  10. So today my GTX 980ti G1 died. I'm looking to upgrade and not sure what's the best option. I was thinking the 2080ti since that'll be the best performance upgrade over my current 980ti, but not sure it's worth the cost, any suggestions?
  11. Ah ok thanks, this will make it easier to set up
  12. Yep its fine now, was just a matter of being a noob and having it to far away etc. Thank you for your help
  13. It sounds so simple but this has solved my problem haha. Not being used to a standalone mic has made me forget that you still cant have it far away etc so thank you.
  14. Firstly I'm not 100% sure if this is the right forum section but my basic question is how do I improve gain on my AT2020? Currently I have it plugged into my second XLR socket and to use it for Voice Activation I have to put the gain all the way up (which is horrible) so can only use it whilst using PTT. I also have my ATH - M50x plugged into the headphone socket but I don't think that makes any difference, I believe its an issue with the gain, as I said. Any help with be appreciated.
