Okay - so what else is on that breaker? Easiest way to test this is to shut off the breaker and see which outlets don't work.

On top of that, you're basically going over the breaker Amp limit (Assuming standard NA circuit, 120V w/ 15A breaker). Grab an electrical meter (something like a Kill-A-Watt meter - cheap on Amazon) and measure the output of the server (and all accessories - if you use a powerbar, plug the powerbar into the meter). Find out how many Watts it's drawing (and note Volts and Amps too)

Then, measure all other devices on the circuit and add it all up. If the total draw is under 1300-1500W, you're fine - if it's spiking over 1500W, you're just overloading the circuit (though depending on the specific voltage your circuit outputs - 15A could be as high as 1875W, assuming 125V).

If your total amps are well under 15A, then there's likely an electrical issue with your circuit - a short or something else perhaps.

Thank you sir this makes sense I have a refrigerator and another decently power hungry PC on the same breaker and I do believe I am over 1500W. I will unplug stuff and that should fix it! Thank you!

Can you clarify, what breaker is it tripping? The circuit breaker in your house for that particular outlet circuit?

Or the breaker inside your PSU?

Is there a seperate breaker for the psu if so I think it might be the socket not the pc.

  3. Hello I bought a Dell T3600 and installed a RX 570 into it. I am having an issue when trying to start the computer or waking up from sleep mode it will trip the breaker. But most of the time it will work fine when it does turn on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to start diagnosing this? Thank you!

  4. Hello I have a Dell T3600 with a Xeon E5-1603, 16gb ram, and a RX 570.

I run Regular non modded Minecraft 1.12.2 and 1.14.4 and I receive around the 100 fps mark with high settings and mipmap level 4.

With Modded Minecraft 1.12.2 I get 1 fps on high settings and mipmap 4 but I get 60 but not very stable fps at everything on low and mipmap off.

I ran hwmonitor and when running non modded minecraft it was clocking to about 818MHz but when in modded minecraft it clocked to 741MHz. It did run at 1200MHz on 1.14.4.

    Any ideas? Thank You!

With so many components you will most likely overload your RGB header as it has a max amperage of usually around 2-3amps so you will need to check the total load of all the components. If that is so you will want to use a power RGB splitter such as this instead which will take an external 12V.

Ok thank you for your help and sorry for puting it into the wrong section

Hey does that motherboard support overclocking like the B350?

It depends, but I wouldn't call FX-8350 "higher spec". At this budget I would look at the 2200G-i3-8100 range. Look at my signature for a build in that price range.

Ok thank you very much for your help!

  10. Hello I would like your recommendation for a new pc.

Should I go with newer lower spec parts or with a little older and higher specs?

    Looking for arround 500$ mark.

This is what I put together. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rk7yzY

    Running Windows 10

    Games being played mostly is

    Fortnite

    Garry's Mod

    TF2

    CSGO

    Thank you for your time!

    Some things to try are:

    • Get a filtered AC power plug.
    • Try a different circuit from computers and other noise generating equipment.
    • OR try different combos of plugs (could be a ground loop issue).
    • Get a ground lifter for your interfaces and/or power:
    • Use a noise gate if possible.
    • Use the smallest amount of gain you can get away with.

Ok thanks for the info! Is this Pyle Pro PHE300 Mini 2-Channel Hum Destroyer any good if you know?

    Thanks!

Depends on the use case. If your loading games it will help a bit, depending on games played.

Depending on budget, Id be temped to just get a 1 or 2tb drive. There getting to 150usd for 1tb ssds now.

    Ok thank you very much

You can also use storage spaces tiering built into windows 10. Id get the bigger 240gb inland drive.

You can't compare sequentical speeds, both of those drives are dram less so random io will be slower and thats what your normally limited by, and what a ssd cache is designed to help with.

120GB should be fine, hell you'll probably be fine with a 64GB

Is there any guess how good the preformance is?

  14. I am wanting to boost a Seagate 2TB BarraCuda 7200 RPM Drive. With PrimoCache or is there a diffrent way to do it with better results? What size SSD do I need? I already seen the Kingston A400 120GB SSD with 500MB/s Read and 320MB/s Write. Or the Inland Professional 240GB SSD with 530MB/s Read and 440MB/s Write.

    Thank You for your time!

Can adjust deadzone in-game and the logitech software. Go into in-game settings, input wizard, move your wheel and whichever comes up with the yellow line is your wheel axis, adjust that accordingly. Took me ages to figure out, but got there in the end.

Thank you it fixed it I thought it was broken! Thanks!
