  1. About the case yeah same idea, I just don't want something old style or that breaks if you have to move it. Isn't the iCUE 220T not good for airflow? About the PSU I thought that 650W would be plenty of enough for the build
  2. Budget (including currency): 1.800 EUR Country: Italy Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: PC for all usage, want to deep more into gaming with high quality, minor video production etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have a new Nvme 1tb and a SSD of 500gb GPU RTX 3070Ti- Zotac Gaming AMP Holo / Gigabye RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC / Gigabye Ti Eagle OC MB Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming / MSI B550 Tomahawk CPU AMD 5800X RAM Crucial Ballistix 32GB (2x16GB) Cooling Scythe Fuma 2 / Dark Rock 4 PSU Seasonic Prime PX 650W HDD Toshiba P300 2TB This would be around 1.8k Euro. I've currently 2 1080p monitor (144Hz-75Hz) but want to upgrade them to 1440p (144Hz). Could you also suggest me some Mid-Tower cases with good airflow and filters? I've got currently a Enthoo Pro but it's really big and wanted something smaller. I was thinking about the Eclipse P360A, Pure Base 500DX and iCUE 220T
  3. It's not urgent but I keep delaying it and I'm beginning to get frustrated, have just to endure it As case I have and Phantek Enthoo Pro, I know that it's best for airflow but I was thinking to swap it because it's really big. PSU I've a EVGA SuperNOVA 650, would this be good for the future or better to change it? SSD no problem, have a M.2 bought a couple of months & also current SSD (860 EVO) ago because of a irresistible offer + 1TB HDD
  4. Hi there to be short, I currently on a double monitor setup, and the computer processes good my needs at 1080p (playing only on 1 monitor). The only thing that bothering me is playing new games at 30/40 FPS at Low/Med res and other like Overwatch at 100 to 150. In case of Overwatch if I'm doing something in the background then I'm like 40, then 110, then 60 fps etc. So I wanted to get rid of this issue primarily but I don't know if a "newer" CPU/GPU could help me fix this. I know that the rig is pretty much dead with the CPU so I was wondering if you would rather upgrade something for little amounts or wait to save up enough to get everything new. (I'm trying to save enough but bad times are not collaborating) My current rig has Intel Core i5 4590 Gigabyte H97-D3H-CF MSI GeForce GTX 970
  5. Hello to all, I was considering a new build or an upgrade of my current one This is my config Intel Core i5 4590 Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4GB DDR3 Gigabyte H97-D3H-CF Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB WD Blue 1TB MSI GeForce GTX 970 BenQ GL2460 if I had to sell this config how much could I ask for it? And if instead I'll simply upgrade my Monitor (it was my intent) with an 1440p 144hz and my graphic card with a 1080Ti? Would the rest of the components "suffer" for it?
  6. I read DoS attack in the log. Can't still figure out what the problem could be.
  7. Static IP is setted on this PC, I have actually this settings: IP - 192.168.0.2 Subnet - 255.255.255.0 Gateway - 192.168.0.1 DNS server - 192.168.0.1
  8. Actually all connected devices are mine And what could it be? It drops on my pc but still works on other device like iPad, can't understand
  9. Hi all, In the last weeks my internet connetion (only on my PC) drops for some minutes and then reappears again. I've logged into the admin panel (Netgear DGN2200V3) of the router and found a DoS attack. Also I've got a lot of PortMapping when my PC is on. Why this? How could I solve this?
  10. Yes but I have to hide the hub (not much space on desk) so I wouldn't make my choose on this basis. My concerning was about data loose and anything else. Ai read also that hub may have some problem with keyboard or mice
  11. Hi all, I've got a question and I can't really find a "right" solution to it. I have the pc at about 2m from the desk, I need to connect the keyboard and mice but the cable are not so long. Here my question: Should I use an extension cable or a HUB (powered?)? Will I loose some performance or have some problems? Thanks
  12. Seems like various opion. How is the loudness and watt of the 390? Also, which model of the 390?
  13. Hi! I'm building a new PC right now and the only part I miss is the Graphic Card, I waited to see the R9 390. I would like to be able play at 1080p without problem, also in the next 3/5 years. Actually my chooses are: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Asus GTX 970 Strix Sapphire R9 290(x) Tri-X ???? R9 390 From what I have read the best solution for 1080p is the 970, I also like it because of the Zero-Fan Mode. The 290(x) is a good choise but it is louder than the 970 and also consumes more watt. The R9 390 seems better that 1440p and more but it has the 8GB (which shouldn't be the problem as in 1080p I shoudn't touch, teorically, the 4GB). What would you advice?
  14. Well, is the 380 worth it? I'm actually building a new pc and wanted to wait because of it but is it worth? My options were: R9 380 Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
  15. Yes, it is quite impossible to have the best airflow with noise dampening material. Every case has some drawbacks. For sure shut off the fans would be fun I would reconsider the "K" version of the but I need more $ Question about the Enthoo Pro: What do you think if I use as storage an 2.5" 7.200 RMP Western Digital Red WD10JFCX instead of a 3.5" and remove the two HDD cages to have a better airflow? Or maybe I could also use and 5,25>3,5 adapter as well..
