  1. I have a i9 7900x that i really wanna delid but no one sells the ddm-x tool amywhere in the usa, correct me if im wrong. Im trying to see if anyone in the states has one that i could buy or even just rent for a week to delid my chip. Even if i bought from over seas, no one has any instock
  2. msi gs70.... or gs60 if you want the 15" i have the gs70, thin light, quiet https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GS63VR-Stealth-Pro-068-i7-6700HQ/dp/B01IS33OLC/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1482005464&sr=1-5&keywords=msi+laptop+1060
  3. about 700-900 for all 15 and i never change it, gaming or idle is always the same speed, whisper quite
  4. dont do it!!!!! first do you even know if the cpu can be taken out??? 2nd laptops are built to handle what they have inside, putting a higher power cpu in a laptop can cause lots of heat or power issues if the laptop isnt built to specifically handle that cpu...
  5. that last one, perfect, ill design and 3d print my own headphone hook.... thx you!!!!!
  6. oh god... lol, sadly too long to fit in the space i will have, otherwise i would just for shits and giggles
  7. ok so i bought a caselabs sm8 with a 360 (3x120mm) rad drop in for the front panel, and a 480 drop in to the top, this gives me a little room of the 480 ran to place shallow mounting 5.25" bay shit, i have 2 bays to fill and i want any ideas or pictures, or items that i can buy or make or anything to fill those 2 5.25" slot... any ideas welcome, nothing is too crazy, if anything crazier the better.
  8. you wanted to sit an AMG $200,000 car on top of your pc? odd choice..... but i like it
  9. with the 400 id sell the 970s and get a single 1080 and then you can sli later on down the road
  10. nzxt hue+ is a must, unless you already have your set up in a specific color. what gpus do you have?
  11. i started a seperate topic about this stuff, few people are posting already, cpuwaiy, please go read it, not trying to be mean or anything of that nature i simply want the right info to be given out to the right people. i would like if you commenting in the thread i made, i want you to defend your side so we can have an adult, in depth talk about it. even if i turn out wrong then atleast we both know. for OP, if you dont plan to OC, having a K rated cpu is unneeded, return and get a regular 6700 if possible. use the money for something else, but yes, windows 10 upgrade and redo all your drivers and stuff
  12. ok so in a different thread a fellow LLT member is stating that a Z rated MB are not meant for OC but rather to enable Xfire. while i claim that a Z rated MB is built and designed for OC in mind and that you can run sli/Xfire on any chipset as long as the MB is designed by the Manufacturer to use more then 1 video card. i simply want someone, especially staff to clear up the matter so that wrong info isnt being told to other members, and this way if it turns out im the one in the wrong, then i know better and i learn something
  13. ive informed a moderator of this topic, sorry OP for the mess but i dont want you getting wrong information.
  14. can we please get a moderator in here to clear this up... this guy is spreading wrong info... for Xfire and SLI it depends on your MB specs and your availible pci lanes on your cpu and your plx chip... a Z rated MB is built and designed for OC K series CPUs you can sli and xfire on even a B rated MB if you wanted, just has to be supported by the MB. please for gods sake just leave this thread
  15. https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Z170-H170-H110-B170-Q150-Q170---What-is-the-Difference-635/ you look like an idiot
