thought i had killed my CPU when redoing the delid, but luckely i only bent up two pins in the socket so its running fine now, new pump is SO QUIET, its crazy! time to run some temp tests becuse the new LM application i would say is quite a bit better and its not clumpy and shit BUT the flow rate of the loop is down with this new pump

lowest core temp during a Cinebench run was 54C, hottest 64C... nice 10C difference there -_- but still nicely down from what it was, used to be all cores at 72C :D

What pump did you go with?

Glad to hear that you didn't kill the CPU or the socket!

well its old as hell, but i got it cheap on the used market. its a Innovatek PCPS 1104 and its replaceing the pice of shit EK-DC 4.0 i had in there

Reduced flow does not necessarily mean reduced cooling capacity so I would imagine that the lower flow rate of the new pump is going to work out just fine.

    Congrats on the improvements bud!

thanks man, yah i have only seem a gain in performance and i dont even care that the flow is down, my hearing is back :P

thats going to be pretty sweet tbh, if they are priced right there is a chance the used market will flod with Kabylake and Skylake and that might give me a reason to get a 7700K and the z170 OC Formula and redo this whole Delid thing again, for the third time...
