temps for both are around 50

my friend owns this laptop and whe have been trying to get this laptop to work properly for about 3 weeks but we cant get it to work we have tried almost everything we can from dragon center to running with nvidia gpu my guess is that the laptop doesn't switch to the gpu and stays on the igpu but the gpu indicator light always says that its running on gpu he gets a bout 40-50 fps on fortnite on lowest settings 25-30 in planet coaster on an empty park with lowest settings please if anybody knows a solution please share

i have an friend with an i5 2500k pc and his pc keeps freezing after 1 hour i have an feeling it has to do with his cheap ass psu bt we dont know so the question is as follows Can a Cheapo PSU cause random system freezes?

if the mobo dies on me will it also take the cpu and or ram with it?
