    Relock your bootloader. Make sure you installed an actual google image from google's website.

    go to control panel > system > system protection Click your ssd and then configure and disable system restore. Click ok. Then click your other drive, then configure and enable system restore. Problem solved.

    Are you trying to fresh install windows 10, or 7? Try creating a brand new installation usb drive with the media creation tool. It gives you the newest available installer with newest available built in windows drivers. Also, make sure you have the bios set to AHCI mode instead of RAID. When I did that, it found my nvme ssd fine and and installed without issue.

    I have a 9550 and don't have that problem. I did a fresh windows install in AHCI mode as soon as I got it though (Never booted into the pre-installed dell windows at all).I'm running the newest bios and all up-to-date drivers. I did swap the dell 1830 wifi card out for an Intel 8620 though. What HDD configuration do you have?

    If you're looking for budget. I just bought an Asus Z170-e board. It's lacking on USB ports (4 rear), but it overclocks nicely and once I added a usb hub, I'm loving it for the price.

    Just built a new rig using the Fractal Define S (no window) where all panels have the sound deadening foam. Came from a 600t with the same cooler, fans and power supply. The sound difference is night and day. I don't have a meter, but wow. The Define S isn't even noticeable under full Prime95 load.

    Awesome, thanks for the reply. One question though. Where are your fans located? Rad-fans-front of case? Or Fans-rad-front of case Or Rad-case-fans?

    is there much give to the hoses on the H100i? Apparently they're an inch or so longer than on the original H100.

    Yeah, I'm mostly reading how hideous the backplate is, but I ordered a window-less case anyway, so it doesn't matter. My computer sits on the floor with the window side of a case almost up against a wall.

    Hey all. Just ordered mostly a new rig. Just wondering if anyone with a Fractal Define S has tried putting an original corsair H100 water cooler front-mounted in the case? I'm hoping the hoses are long enough, even if I have to put the fans inside, pushing through the rad into the case. Anyone else try it? New parts I have ordered: Zotac GTX1070 AMP! Edition Intel i7-6700K Asus Z170-E 16GB (2x8) Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400 C14 DDR4 1.2V Fractal Define S Parts I'm using from my old rig: Corsair H100 Corsair HX850w Mushkin 256GB Chronos Deluxe SSD (Going to be replaced sometime in January or February for an M.2 NVME Drive) 3x 1.5TB WD Green drives (Raid 5) (Also getting replaced within a few months)
