  1. Anything in the full tower will have plenty of room for your hardware. You'll need to shop around for what your needs are as there are way too many cases on the market. Personally I like Thermaltake and In Win cases. I have the Thermaltake Overseer RX 1, which has a feature I was looking for. A built in HDD docking station....love it and use the crap out of it. It's big/roomy/plenty of grommets for cable management/2 200mm fans which can run at lower RPM and move 5 times as much air as a 120mm or 140mm fan can.
  2. Not necessarily true...that depends on the headset itself as to quality of sound whether it be analog or USB. I find that the cheap 3.5mm analog headsets vs there counter part USB headsets are worse in sound quality. You have to remember that the USB is digital sound which is clearer/crisper/and more vibrant sound than analog period. Example....logitech H100 headset/mic for $14 at your local walmart has terrible sound, step up to the logitech $19 USB and the sound is noticeable better. Why...because it's digital.
  3. Top of the line all the way through that build.....damn nice! Must have set you back a pretty penny? Nice pic of your cat....lol.
  4. I just bought a Gigabyte GA=Z97 Gamimg 7 mobo and a Intel i7 4790K CPU with GSkill Trident Series DDR3 2400 mhz 2x8 gig sticks and it's a power house. It's only a dual channel mobo and works great.
  5. The performance gain versus the cost between the 970 and 980 is minimal. Unless you just want a top of the line GPU for bragging rights. The 970 will run anything the 980 can and on maximum setting with no problems at all.
  6. Prime95 is a stress test for the CPU.....it jacks the CPU limits to the maximum and beyond. Those temps are normal when using Pime95 and when not stressing CPU it idles back down to 35 to 40 degrees is what it's supposed to do. My concern is with the idle temps...are you using the software for the AIO to set the fan speed?
  7. Believe it or not....it's becoming a widely accepted practice....and there are plenty of youtube videos out there explaing and showing how it's done. The key is to let the components air dry thoroughly for a few days.
  8. The thing to remember is that mobo is set up to run at its best efficiency as dual channel, which means 2 sticks of RAM. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5174#sp 2 x DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory * Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed. Dual channel memory architecture Support for DDR3 1600/1333 MHz memory modules Support for non-ECC memory modules Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
  9. the Gigabyte G1 Sniper is a good choice.....although I just bought the Gigabyte Gaming G7.
