  1. Decided to go with a Noctua NH-U12S for now, however I will be upgrading to a Swiftech H220 once Amazon starts selling them in the UK. Thanks for all the suggestions though :D
  2. Thanks for the response Elven I did take a look at some of Noctua's coolers and although I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme I wouldn't mind getting the Noctua NH-U12S. As it stands currently, it's between that and the previously mentioned Phanteks PH-TC12DX. Hoping to order one either today or tomorrow.
  3. I'm using an i5 3570k and I'm looking to get an overclock of around 4 - 4.5Ghz depending on how good the chip is and what sort of temps I get.
  4. I've been doing a bunch of research on various CPU coolers and I have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 that I would feel comfortable using in my rig. 1. Zalman CNPS9900 MAX Blue 2. Phanteks PH-TC12DX I decided on these two coolers because they are quite good value for money, they aren't too big (not a fan of large air coolers), and they go with my build theme (Black/Royal Sapphire(Blue)/White). I was tempted to pick up an AIO CLC such as the H100i but I don't really feel comfortable buying one at this moment in time, and even if I was to get one it would most likely be the Swiftech H220, however it isn't currently available in the UK. Anyway if anyone has had any experience with either of the above coolers or if there is one you would recommend over the other, I would appreciate a response. If you think there is another cooler available that I may have overlooked and is comparable to either of the two coolers in terms of performance AND aesthetics feel free to post it and I'll take a look, but from the extensive research I've done these two seem like my best option, just not sure which one.

    1155 Air Cooler

I'm looking to get an aftermarket CPU cooler for my i5 3570k, that will give me a stable 4.2 - 4.5 Ghz overclock with good temps. My only requirement is that it doesn't block any ram slots and comes in blue, white, black or grey. So far I'm looking at getting the Zalman CNPS9900 MAX Blue, although I've heard mixed reviews about it. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
  6. Ok nice, I've been quite busy lately so I haven't had chance to order one, but I should be getting one some time this week. Have you used any other gaming mice that you could compare it too? I saw in your profile that you are using a G400, do you prefer that over the EC1 Evo?
  7. The original EC1/2 (non evo) had prediction but that is supposedly resolved with the Evo's. As for acceleration I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any, as it is using an Avago 3090 sensor (same as the deathadder) but I cannot clarify that completely. My problem with the DA is that I don't like how your Middle and index finger rest on an indented surface (much prefer it to be flat) and I don't like how the mouse button is raised on the side as I find it quite annoying to rest my ring finger on. I believe the EC 1 Evo would address both of these gripes, however I wouldn't want to compromise on the quality of the sensor, if what your saying about accel is true.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Zowie EC1/2 Evo and what are your thoughts on it, i.e shape, sensor, LOD, grip? I'm currently using a Logitech G400 and Razer Deathadder 2013, but I just don't feel comfortable enough with either one of them and the Zowie seems like my only other option for a mouse designed for Medium/Large hands, a palm grip and comes with a 'flawless sensor' (no accel or prediction). I'm open to other suggestions, but at this point in time I'm leaning towards the EC1 with the glossy white finish. Thanks
  9. Not sure if you are aware, but BenQ recently released their own 144hz monitor, the XL2411T, that would probably be a better comparison to the Asus monitor.
  10. Is there any difference between the Qck + and Qck Heavy, other than the thickness of the pad (2mm/6mm). Does one perform/track better, or is it just personal preference?
  11. I can definitely attest to the precision and accuracy you get with the Deathadder (2013 in my case), but I feel like I have a better grip and more control with the G400. However, I am curious to see how the new G400s' sensor compares to the Deathadder. If anyone has had any experience with it and either of its predecessors (G400/MX 518) I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
  12. I'm having a similar problem, however I already have both mice, I just can't decide on which one I should use. Each feel evenly comfortable to me. Is there anything one has over the other?
  13. Does the Sensei Raw fall under this list aswell? If not, what's wrong with it?
  14. I do prefer cloth mouse mats aswell. Also just to clarify is the QcK the same as the QcK + just smaller?
