Hey guys, this might seem a stupid question but in my promo for my motherboard, it says it supports Gen 3 PCIe. I was just wondering if this is the same as PCIe 3.0? As I want to put in a gtx960 or gtx970. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, my question is simply this: do you guys think, the 4gb ASUS strix version of the GTX960 will be compatible with my current Gigabyte Intel Z68 Express Chipset Motherboard(intel). I'm just contemplating what to upgrade first, (ram,cpu,mboard) or gpu. I just want to play GTAV! The 960 is replacing a 570, and nothing else is changing for now, ram is staying the same at 8gb 1600mhz hyper x and cpu 2600k i7. My psu is true power 600w which should be sufficient. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also: on a side, note, Can I reuse my water cooler? I have a antec Kuhler 620. I should be able to just scrape off the thermal paste right? Thanks!
