    Sometimes I give some games a test run before I buy them. See if they feel shitty optimized/bad overall. If I don't like it withing the first 10 minutes I uninstall, but if I do, auto-buy.

    More cores are always better when it comes to editing. It depends though, do you have any processors in mind?

    More power per core with the i5. The 8350 may seem fancy with its 8 cores and 4Ghz cs but when it comes to gaming something like a 4690k destroys it tbh.

    @pomaranc is right, grab the 4690k any decent 1150 socket mobo if you are not planning to sli or xfire.

    Get another 8gb of RAM since you're editing. Also, you might consider going for the Corsair H100i Liquid cooler if you plan to seriously oc.

    Yeah I had decided to go with the h100i and forgot to switch out the partpicker part. I have an SSD picked out and will be using my current HDD.

    I'm pretty sure I need a PSU upgrade if I were to buy a Titan X. Also, I think I was clear on the whole beast PC thing, i5 is great for gaming and shit but I edit a whole lot more than I game. So an 4690k is not going to cut it at all.

    1. Yeah 2. I'm thinking 4k ultrawide since my current triple monitor setup is both space consuming and bezel-ly as fuck. I know I could prob switch them out for better ones but the thought of a huge ultrawide 4k display makes me ecstatic. 3. Suggestions?
