I really can't, I have some important files that I haven't had time to back up and I can't lose them.
If there's even the smallest chance to fix this issue without having to re-install windows, I'll take it.
Thanks for your reply though!
I am trying to remove an update package that I suspect is causing my computer to BSOD on boot with the code "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE"
It is easy to get it to show the packages but when I try to remove the one that probably causes the issue using the remove-package DISM command, it freezes at about 87% and gives me an error message saying:
An error occured - Package_for_RollupFix Error 0x80071160
Error 4448
The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's resource table
What do I do now? I need to remove this package in order to fix the problem. Thanks for your help.
Whenever I boot up my computer I get a repairing screen and afterwards a BSOD with the code "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE".
I have looked up the issue on Google and have tried following the DISM method but the problem is when I type dir c: (Windows is installed on C:) I get a message saying 'File not found'.
How can I go about fixing the issue without having to perform a fresh installation of Windows?
For anyone about to ask, yes I am running windows off an SSD and I think the april update caused the problem since many others seem to be affected.
Thanks for your help
I noticed during a very dark scene of a movie that there was a pixel on my monitor that wasn't dark. I visited many burnt pixel sites and was only able to notice it with a black/ dark background. I have included a picture of what it looks like. Could it spread? What can i do about it? I'm pretty sure my warranty has expired and I don't want to buy a new monitor.
I just bought a Huawei p8 lite dual sim phone and its currently running lollipop. I found out that i can update the phone manually using some files on Huawei's site but even though I follow the process step by step I keep getting an error saying "Software install failed". I am on build number ALE-21C432B210. Can someone help me?
