  1. Yeah, I know, RAM as well, but I'll look at prices and performance between the 4460 and 6600k/6500 and decide if it is worth it
  2. Oh dang, that's pretty good. I might consider driving over to one if I think it's worth it. Thanks!
  3. I'm in Indiana, so there's a bunch surrounding me but not in my state. When you say super cheap what price (ish) are you talking about? Cause I'd love to pick up a 6600k or a 6500. EDIT: In the surrounding states
  4. I currently have a G3258 and a 960, and am looking to sell my 960 and upgrade to a RX 480 when the price drops or a 1060 when Nvidia officially releases it. I've got a MSI H81-E33 mobo, and want a 4690k, but 250$ for a CPU is more than I would like to pay right now. So, my question is: What is a good value CPU that won't bottleneck (or at least not that much) a RX 480 or 1060? If there is an AMD option still say it, I am open to suggestions. I plan on playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fallout 4, and DOOM at 1080p. Thanks!
  5. G3258 @3.7GHz (my CPU isn't great for overclocking) EVGA GTX 960 2GB SSC
  6. Nevermind, the files he uploaded are not up anymore
  7. Well, I shall see what happens If it doesn't work I'll just wait to play it until I get a quad core
  8. Hello everyone, I am interested in how to make Far Cry 4 run on a G3258. I know that FC4 requires a quad core or a dual core with hyperthreading but is there a way to get around that with 2 cores and 2 threads? Thanks.
  9. I have overclocked my G3258 to 3.8 GHz without changing any voltage (not much, I know, but it isn't stable at 4.0). Problem is, there are 3 types of voltages I can change. I am running an MSI mATX "military class" motherboard and the voltages are: VCCIN, CPU core voltage, and CPU ring voltage. Which do I increase? They are on auto and when I press +, the VCCIN is at 1.2, and the other two are at 0.8, even though when running benchmarks the CPU voltage is higher than that. Should I change voltage and leave on auto or go to override mode? Thanks.
  10. So today I've finished building my first PC and when installing windows 10 through a USB drive I first got an error that said something about a file missing. I pressed the buttons it said to press multiple times and it went through windows setup again and did the same error. So, I turned it off and plugged the flash drive in again and it says there was an unexpected I/O error. What do I do? Thank you.
  11. I'm in POST phase right now, do I need to do the case connectors?
