  1. It's defiently seeing and using all 4 drives
  2. Hey guys I recently bought 4x 4TB HDDs and installed them. The max volume size I can get out of it is around 7TB. I only have 4GB of memory which is defiantly not enough, just wondering if that's why freenas wont allow me to have more than 7TB or that's what happeneds with using RaidZ2. I was hoping to get around 12TB, just need to know before I go and buy a heap of memory Thanks Ian
  3. The problem is that its only going to be set up for less than a week <_<
  4. Hey guys I'm doing a temporary (about 4-5 days) setup outdoors with 200M of standard MM Fibre optic cable, will it be capable of surviving that length of time outdoors. I'm looking at fibre like this http://www.amazon.com/Multimode-Duplex-Fiber-Optic-Cable/dp/B006KYLNQ0 I know there is durable/rugged fibre optic cable such as the Neutrik opticalCon Duo cable but its around 3 to 4 thousand dollars and the adapters another $800 How durable is standard fibre optic cable. What do you guys think Thanks Ian
  5. Thanks but the GPU doesn't do anything during renders. Would it take 20 minutes to render a 10minute 1080p video with this card?
  6. Hey guys I am using After effects 11.0.0.378 and i am having trouble with the cuda support with my GPU (GTX 980 Strix) I have found a popular method of fixing this issue by adding Geforce GTX 980 to the ray tracer file in the after effects install location, but when I open after effects it comes up with errors (see below). Essentially what i want fixed is the rendering is done by the GPU not the CPU Thanks Ian Scott I know that it sais that is it set to the GPU but it still does nothing when rendering and uses the CPU instead
  7. Thanks that was the problem (found a picture of how it should be)
  8. I thought I might have to do that, Thanks
  9. Hey guys I recently put together a rig (parts list below) but when I run prime 95 (large FFTs or other high CPU usage tests) the temperatures I get is 95-100 degrees. The cooler I'm using is a corsair h100i with stock fans in a push config. The CPU isn't overclocked. Are these temps normal for the h100i? 10. Sorry I missed that. I changed my mind to the red ones and forgot to delete the greys.
  11. Hey guys I'm placing a order soon and I'm wondering is it worth the extra $65 for the Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB SSD instead of the Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB SSD. The build is a video editing computer (no 4K, mostly 1080). Also would the parts and memory (linked below)have chosen be sufficient enough for things like After effects/adobe suite. Im trying to get under (or close to) $3000 for the whole build. Shopping cart link http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/fID Thanks Ian
