Nine days into the competition and things are starting to settle in.

The Download bug is still hitting Team members though it seems to be better and folks are bemoaning certain WUs that won't let their big iron shine.

Still in the lead by the narrowest of margins is @Gorgon at 132.5 million with @Den-Fihot on his heels at 132.3 million and gaining. But wait, could there be a dark horse galloping on the horizon? 3rd place @miker07 at 115.8 million has @Yggdrasil128 at 86.8 million behind him which seems like quite a gap but Yggdrasil's been making up for his slow start and is out-producing all the leaders with an impressive 20.7 million points in the last day. If he can keep this up it may make Den-fi's reign at the top spot brief. @catawalks in 5th place at 75.3 million must be wondering what kind of cat fight he's gotten himself into.

@_Rlockeis in 6th at 66.1 million with a comfortable lead over @GOTSpectrumin 7th at 40.8 million. @DUW1G1T is in 7th at 40.2 million but @Lucky7 in 8th is closing in at 37.7 million with @Cbwgoosebehind him in 10th at 30.8 million.

@palespartanis in 11th with 30.5 million but @Yabdat and @Struck are close behind in 12th and 13th with 29.5 million each. @Corrupt_Liberty is in 14th at 25.7 million and @SpecialService in 15th just a hair behind him. @viperssxt@B_T_B@JB25304 and @TVwazhere are in 1619th place all around 24 million and @Metallus97 is in  20th with 23.6 million.

The top 10 producers have accounted for 24.6% of the total points, The Top 50 47.5 and, the Top 100 64.3% but lets remember this is a Team effort and boy what a start we've had. Yesterday we took first place overall for production from CureCoin and today we are at 487 million points per day a little more and we might take 8th place overall from [H]ardOCP during the event.
    as always:

Please remember that this is a friendly event, but we are all folding away for Science, AND GLORY!

Well guys, here we are, the first day of the second week and my oh my have we been busy bees, that 500m day is still elusive but we are creepy ever closer.

In first place we have @Gorgon with a massive 116.56 million points, he really has expanded his fleet since last folding month and finds himself in first, but that lead is slipping away as @Den-Fi is hot on his tail with 115.66 million, and seeing as the advancing royalists are outpacing the the rebel leader it's only a matter of time. Taking third place we have @miker07 who continues to play with the big boys holding onto the number three spot with 103.63 million points, in fourth we can see the teams biggest producer @Yggdrasil128 flying up the ranks at warp speed currently holding onto a ticket with 66.13 million points, fifth place is take by @catawalks with 64.2 million points, The cat man is slowing that he can do more than simply scratch a post. 6th place is taken by @_Rlocke with 57.8 million points, hes built himself up a mighty lead over @GOTSpectrum in 7th who has 36.1 million points to his name, 8th place we see @DUW1G1T continuing to push hard with 35.8 million points, hes so close to 7th he can taste the rainbow Mr spec is leaving behind. In 9th place we have @Lucky7 with 33 million points and he isnt feeling overly threatened by @palespartan in 10th who has 26.7 million points.

The top 10 brought home 24.44% of the points for this update, the top 50 ranks can claim 48.46% while the top 100 has 63.23% this update.

    Well guys,

This will have to be a quick one, if I have time I may come back and edit this later on, I'm not sure yet.

@Gorgon is still holding onto first place, @Den-Fi the king has rallied the troops and is marking on number one, @miker07 Seems to be enjoying himself sitting in third, @catawalks is in a dangerous position with a number of people below him out producing him, @_Rlocke seems to have found the wind and has given the order to make full sail, @Yggdrasil128 has entered the age of steam and is pushing forward at a tremendous rate, @DUW1G1T has found the extra hourses and taken 7th place, @GOTSpectrum finds himself in 8th after what appears to be a bad day of production, @Lucky7 continues his forward march keeping pace with the rest of the forces and in 10th we see @palespartan has made good on his promise and has conquest the number 10 spot, now only time will tell if this was a take and hold objective or simply an overstretching of supply lines.

    top 10 - 23.21%

    top 50 - 46.7%

    top 100 - 62.48%

Mattias Edeslatt reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Two - So Early, So Impressive
In these early days we start to see the initial ranks coming out, much can, and will change over the next 33 days, but for now we can get a small idea of generally where many of us will find ourselves, will we be comfortably finding ourselves fighting for a respectable top 100, maybe even top 10, or are we in for the misery of finding ourselves fighting to stay afloat in the middle. These numbers are interesting if nothing else and may be an indicator of what is to come, but one is is sure, that nothing is sure right now. So... lets get on with it.

We see @miker07 topping the chart with an impressive 25.54 million points so far, he is looking like the man to beat, the one who may finally dethrone the king, in second we have our very own @Gorgon with a still very impressive 24.77 million points, he will be looking forward with wonder, can he tune his rigs and close the gap. Third place we have The King, @Den-Fi he seems to have hit a hurdle already with 21.96 million points to show for all his effort over the last couple days, but he will be looking forward, he will be questioning, how do I take back my throne. In forth place we find @catawalks, a new comer to folding month who seems to be wanting to make his name known by taking the number 4 spot with 14.09 million points. In fifth we have @_Rlocke a veteran of the month of folding and a well known heavy hitter, I'm sure he will have more in the tank to come having produced 9.71 million over the last couple days. 6th place sees @DUW1G1T whos been pushed out of the top 5 by mr Locke, with 9.07 million points he cant really feel very comfortable as 7th place is @GOTSpectrum who is only 8k points behind that mark. We see a fair gap open of about 2.5 million points  before 8th can be seen and who is it, its yet another new name @Lucky7. He must be really thanking lady luck for the comfortable position he seems to be in with another million points behind him we have @palespartan with 6.5 million points, as one of the events core team and the reason for this event even existing he must be asking himself why he cant do more.To round out the top 10 we have @Yabdat, another familiar name for us who took part in last years folding month, the gate keep finds himself with 6.2 million points.

The top 10 have produced 20.75% of all points produced by folding month participants over the last 24 hours.

The top 50 make up 45.06% while the top 100 made 63% of todays total.

as always anyone who hasnt produced any points so far this month wont show up on the table below.

With our fearless leader @GOTSpectrumindisposed I'll try to fill in with Today's stat's update ...

Team LTT has produced almost a billion points in the first three days of the event and since today are posting the most points per day of all Folding@Home teams with 423MPPD versus CureCoin's 392MPPD today.

A fierce battle is still raging for the lead but @miker07 remains in 1st place at 39 Miliion points and is slowly increasing their lead over @Gorgon at 38 million. @Den-Fi has ramped up production leading the pack over-all today but is still in third place overall at almost 36 million points. Its 32C in Glacock County Georgia and 5C in the Great White North. Will that be enough of a Delta-T for @Gorgon to stave off the advance of the Georgians? Will Mainfest Destiny come to realization?

@catawalks is in 4th at almost 22 million with @_Rlocke next at almost 17 million. @GOTSpectrum is in sixth place with 13.6 million with @DUW1G1T on his heels less than 100,000 points behind. @Lucky7 is on his own in 8th for now at 11.3 million and @palespartan in 9th at 9.7 million has 10th place @Yabdat just 80,000 points behind him.

@yaboistar in 11th place at 8.4 million but he better watch his six as @SpecialService is coming up fast in 11th place and bagged 3.2 million in the last day passing @TVwazhere who has fallen to lucky 13th at just a titch over 13 million but all is not well as @porina is swimming fast on his tail and is a little over 400,000 points behind but gaining by half a million PPD.

    @Cbwgoose, @viperssxt, @RollinLower, @Corrupt_Liberty, @sopordave and, @sanya567xxx round out the top 20.

The top 10 contestants are producing 21.5%, the top 50 45.4% and, the top 100 61% of the Competition's points. More than 700 out of 1750 registered participants are actively folding.

Don't forget you must fold for 20 over the 35 days of the event to be eligible for prizes so if you haven't started yet you've still got a little under two weeks to get started.

    Keep on Foldin'

    And now, the stats:

    Day 4 in the trenches.

Were still stuck in the trenches of the Western Front up to our arses in mud and it is raining slow WUs on the troops. Despite this bad weather Major General @miker07 is still our leader at 54.2Milion points but Brigidier General @Gorgonhasn't given up yet and may have brought up reinforcements for his divisions and is hot on his tail at 53.6 Million in 2nd place. The reining champion, Brigadier General @Den-Fi is close behind at 51.6million and again has out-produced the leaders and is gaining ground.
At 4th and 5th places Colonel @catawalks at 29.6 million is being challenged by Colonel @_Rlocke at 24.5 million.
Major @GOTSpectrum is 6th at 18.2 million with only a 200,000 point lead over Major @DUW1G1T who better find some reinforcements if they want to get any closer.
Captain @Lucky7 is paradoxically in 8th place but the slumbering giant @Yggdrasil128 has woken and with an impressive output of 11.7 million points yesterday looks like he will get a substantial battlefield promotion already having passed Lieutenant @Yabdat now sitting at 10th with 13.4 million.
In the non-commissioned ranks we have Staff Sergeants @palespartan @yaboistar and @SpecialService sitting 11th to 13th at 13.1, 12.1 and 11.4 million respectively followed by Sergeants @TVwazhere @Cbwgoose@porina@viperssxt@RollinLower in 14th-18th all in a massive slug-fest at the 10 million point mark. They better hope the MPs don't show up or they could all end up busted back down to Privates. Corporals @Corrupt_Liberty and @B_T_B are watching this all at 19th and 20th place.

Overall the army has produced 1.37 Billion points over the first few days of the competition and is now comfortably out-producing even Cure Coin, the first ranked army in the fight against Cancer and Neurological Diseases.

    Here are the Stats:

    ***DISCLAIMER***

Due to an unusual error in Stanfords database we have had to make a correction to one users stats, @leadeater will be awarded 786,241 points, this number was worked out by analysing his previous production data along with carefully reviewing log file submitted to us. We are confident that this value should be close enough, with 100k likely to be the maximum error. as the final ranks are worked out using the first and last day values we are hopeful a correction will be issued by Pande group in their database so his final production data will be correct.

    ***End of Disclaimer***

Woowee have I had a mad one these last few days, It's really good to be back writing these posts and being able to be the guy who gives you all the juicy rankings!

Currently sitting in first we have our very own @Gorgon, he is holding onto the hot seat with 69.170 million points, he will be looking to build up the best lead he can because we all know the king is eyeing up the throne, second place is held by @miker07 with 67.400 million points, he too must feel the anxiety of knowing the king is behind him, looking to knock him down a peg, the question is can he muster the reinforcements to leapfrog gorgon and find his way to maintain the silver spot. Third place is held by the king @Den-Fi, who so far has produced 65.465 million points, he seems to be holding back the logistics with fear of their engines overheating, but only time will tell if hes willing to remove the speed governors and let them roll on at full speed. In forth place we see @catawalks holding 37.242 million points, they really have been pushing hard and as we can see their hard work is paying off, but with @_Rlocke who has 32.901 million points, only 5 million points behind and coming up fast and hard it seems they wont be holding onto that spot for long.

In 6th place we have @Yggdrasil128 with 26.1 million points, he has some way to go if he is looking to break into the top 5 pack, but with an impressive 10m points over the last 24 hours it seems thats exactly what he has planned, to storm the beaches of the top 5 form a beachhead and solidify his position. 7th place is @GOTSpectrum with 22.6 million points, @DUW1G1T is still nipping at his heels with 22.4 million points, the real question is, do wither of them have more in the tank. 9th place is held by @Lucky7 who despite being a new coming to the folding month has really gone out to make waves, and in 10th, the gate keeper of the folding expeditionary forces we have @Yabdat with 16.5 million points.

The top ten produced 23.9% of the points over the last 24 hours with the top 50 taking 46.2% and top 100 making up 62.25%.

Please remember that this is a friendly event, but we are all folding away for Science, AND GLORY!

Well guys, it is my pleasure to once again welcome people from all social echelons of the LTT forum to the second official Linus Tech Tips FOLDING MONTH!

We welcome folding titans such as @Den-Fi who is the sitting champion, @Gorgon who will be eyeing up the top spot this year with the intention of dethroning the king and @_Rlocke who has promised to give us a good show with more hardware to throw around this year. LMG staff such as @jakkuh_t will hopefully be joining us along with moderators such as @TVwazhere and @leadeater. @Tomerrs is nowhere to be seen though, and with his startling leap to second it will be a real shame without him.

We have seen the biggest number of participants to date sign up  for any folding event so far. I'd really like to take a moment to thank each one of you; from guys with multi RTX rigs right down to the CPU folders, all are welcome and appreciated here at folding month!

It has been an exciting year for tech, with the release of RTX cards we are seeing productions numbers that are seemingly unreal to what we had only a few short years ago, along with high core count chips from AMD at affordable prices and the falling prices of HEDT platforms from Intel's previous generations make it ever more easy to get yourself set up with some decent hardware and start smashing out the WUs under the orange banner of team LTT!

Could we all give thanks to the team this year, we gain nothing out of this event other than your gratitude so please give a hand to: @palespartan who folding wouldn't exist without, @Gorgon who helps facilitate the stats handling, @Imbellis who will be offering a secondary source of production data,  @Ithanul and @dean_21 who will assist with data validation, and finally myself, who will be working hard behind the scenes building the datasheet, organising data and writing these wonderful blogs.

I'm feeling a little rusty with the writes up so please excuse me getting back into the swing of things as the event goes on. We have the most advanced datasheet to date when compared with folding week 2017, folding month 2018 and the summer folding sprint of 2019. With multiple methods of validating data, increased redundancy of data fetching and more hands to share the load we are hoping there won't be a repeat of last years mishaps.  Here's to hoping for a good clean event. But, if you do notice any errors or mistakes please do feel free to drop me a PM then we can investigate and get it sorted as quickly as possible.

One thing I have to say is once the month is over I really hope to see you guys continuing to fold. We have always punched well above our weight class when it comes to the number of active folders we have compared to the number of points we can churn out on a daily basis. When I first started folding the team was in decline, but since the first folding month we have exploded, and I hope to see that continue into the future.

As usual just a little PSA, we are a small tight-knit community here, so if someone helps you out don't forget to thank them and give them a reaction, Also always remember we fold as a team first and for individual glory second. So be kind, be humble, here at Folding Month 2019!

With only a few days to go we have been working hard behind the scenes, building the datasheet, advertising the event and delegating tasks. But the time for planning is coming to an end, and the time for action is fast approaching. These last few days are crucial, so get checking stability, tuning clocks, running general maintenance and prepare to push your hardware right to the limits of what they were designed to do.

Let us all bask in the warmth of our folding rigs, listening to the pur Scream of the fans blasting away and be proud of just what we can accomplish when we come together.

Well guys, we had a hick up for the day one stats and blog, posting in the wrong blog... Total error on my part.

We go through a rigorous validation procedure, most of it is automated, but the final validation is done by hand, which means there is a chance for human error. In this case one value was missed in the sheet of 1754 records, we record both point and WU data too. If you see anything not quite right feel free to drop any of us a DM.

any users that have not produced any points will not be seen here, if you think this is a mistake please also DM one of the team.

Please remember we fold as a team first and for personal glory second, give reactions to posts that have helped you and be kind.
