  1. @sethiroth95 Not 100% sure that you can flash the BIOS without it working with CPU and GPU. See page 3-21 https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/PRIME_X570-P/E17441_PRIME_X570-P_UM_v3_WEB.pdf What beep-codes do you get when you connect the speaker and turn on the computer? See page 2-17 for error codes.
  2. On some TV:s you can configure what resolution it should use and so on in its settings.
  3. @jjasferreiraDepending on what kind of "live USB" you use you either have to manually select and copy your files to the new drive or manually select what kind of cloning you want to do, and from what source and destination. If you just want a copy of some of your files, boot to a USB with a Linux "live installer" like Linux Mint, select your files and copy them to a another USB or harddrive. If you want an identical copy of your disk in your Laptop, use something like Clonezilla or Acronis True Image and copy the entire drive to another HDD or SSD. https://clonezilla.org/liveusb.php https://www.acronis.com/en-us/homecomputing/trueimage/index.html If you buy an external dock or "USB to SATA-cable" there usually is some form of cloning software included.
  4. If you don't get a display output before windows loads any drivers, like the POST-screen at boot then you have problems other than the GPU if the GPU is working. There will always be display output from a GPU before drivers are lodad on the OS. Either it could be a corrupt BIOS (highly unlikely) or a setting in the BIOS to only display output from the iGPU/onboard display out. In this case I would say that the BIOS on the motherboard doesn't support the installed CPU and therefore there is no boot and display output. Maybe the BIOS needs an update to support the installed CPU? EDIT: In this case the BIOS needs to be revision 2606 or higher to work on that motherboard. Ryzen 5 5600X (Vermeer) (3.7GHz,65W,L3:32M,6C) ALL 2606
  5. Spinning fans doesn't mean that the card is working. You have a HDMI-cable and you got display out with the R7 250 with both VGA and HDMI. With HDMI and R7 250 the display is "glitchy"? But you get nothing with HDMI and GTX 980? You have the right settings and you have selected the right display input on the TV?
  6. Did you repaste the GPU before or after you changed the fans? If you did it before you changed the fans maybe you just made it worse than not repasting the GPU. It is always a bad idea to change more than one parameter at the same time.
  7. Yes, so long windows haven't loaded the (disabled) driver you have display output. Yes, you could clone the drive or copying your files without removing it with a live USB with Linux or a bootable USB with a program like Clonezilla, PartitionMagic and other cloning software. You just need an external HDD to connect via USB. If you have encrypted your home folder or drive your only option is to clone the whole drive.
  8. If you have disabled the iGPU in Windows, resetting the BIOS wont help. To resolve the issue, you need to start Windows in "Safe Mode" and change that setting back. In safe mode windows should not care about that setting and therefore show up on screen. Easiest way to get your data of the drive is to remove it and make a copy of it with another computer. Or boot of a "live USB" with Linux as the disabled display out is done in Windows, the display out is working with another OS or boot-medium.
  9. You don't need a driver to get video out on a GPU. You only need a driver in an OS to get to use all its features and HW-acceleration. Not to get a display output. How else are you going to start the OS to install the driver if you can't get a display on the screen in the first place? So no, it is not a driver issue. It is more likely that you only get display out on a specific port or that you have a bad cable than anything else.
  10. That is complete BS. A GPU doesn't need drivers to get signal out and display something on a screen. It will always show a picture on a screen, the OS on the other hand needs a driver to utilize the card and all of its settings and features. But there is always a video out. How else are you going to install an OS or setup the BIOS? Or use a command prompt if you need a driver to get video out?
  11. You are using cable and not wifi, right? Having no experience of streaming, but 2 Mbit/s for both the stream and the game is to push it. If you have mobile internet then I would say your ping is good. But mobile internet for anything else than browsing the web or consuming media is not a valid option.
  12. Yes, If it was working you wouldn't have any problems.....
  13. Have you tried to reseat the GPU? Very common for it to get knocked out of place when moved around in trasportation. With bigger cards and CPU-coolers it is always a good idea to remove them before transportation.
  14. Well, you should know, with 4 dead PSU:s, how many other components have died each time?
  15. Why don't you check directly with Gigabyte? https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H310M-H-20-rev-10/support#support-cpu
  16. Sounds like the PC-builder have flashed a custom BIOS for the board, hence the OEM-ID-error. Contact them to see if they have released an updated BIOS.
  17. @Betherz16Don't worry about the placement in the cabinet. There are more than enough room around it and with the cabinet open both in the front and in the back there is no risk for overheating based on the placement. There is enough air circulation in and around the cabinet. You mentioned custom built by your father? Is it built by parts that are not from Acer and they are just mounted in the Acer case? Or is it an Acer pre-built that you just have upgraded the RAM and maybe the GPU on? Is there getting enough ventilation inside the case? Depending on what you have for hardware and if that is original from the Acer or for example the GPU or CPU is upgraded to more powerful variants it may be insufficient. The only way to test that is to remove the side panel of the case and test. Having said that a computer can run really hot without any trouble, so there is not much to worry about. Temps up to 90 degrees for both the CPU and GPU under full load is not uncommon in cases that are not optimal and have bad airflow. Often with pre-built systems the cooling for the CPU and GPU may not be the best and can quickly get quite noisy, but that is normal for that types of computers. Can you play some games and take new screenshots from HWinfo so we can see what temps you are getting when you are really using the system? Based on your previous screenshots and pictures everything seems fine. The only thing that worries me is the melting power cords you have mentioned, that is not normal.
  18. Nope, GTX 750 is supported in its latest release of the 470-driver. LINUX X64 (AMD64/EM64T) DISPLAY DRIVER Version: 470.94 Release Date: 2021.12.13 Operating System: Linux 64-bit Language: English (US) File Size: 259.65 MB GeForce 700 Series: GeForce GTX 780 Ti, GeForce GTX 780, GeForce GTX 770, GeForce GTX 760, GeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM), GeForce GTX 750 Ti, GeForce GTX 750, GeForce GTX 745, GeForce GT 740, GeForce GT 730, GeForce GT 720, GeForce GT 710
  19. Well, if you remove all the RAM it would still produce an error for RAM. You need to have one RAM-stick mounted.
  20. Cleaned your RAM? Why in the world do you want to do that for? And how did you clean your RAM? If you wanted the get rid of dust that have accumulated, you use some compressed air. What does this even mean?
  21. We are not fanatic, hell most of us is probably using Ad-blocking in some form. I can only speak for myself and I try to support content creators via Patreon or making donations if they stream live if the stream is on a time that matches with my timezone. And I am paying Google for YT Premium so that is also a way of supporting the creators that i watch videos from. YT is telling just as little about how much they are paying the creators if you pay for Premium or you are watching ads. All that we know is the get some money and Google is most likely keeping the most, as they are the service-provider. And yes, I am aware that I hurt the revenue for many sites that i visit as I use ad-block, so if the owners of the site calls me out on it, I don't get offended. But is there a way to support the site, I try to do it, in some form or way.
  22. You registered to this forum about 4 hours ago to start this topic on a site you think looks like shit complaining about you are being butthurt for being called out for not supporting a channel you obviously likes and follows but refuse to support in any form or way.... OK, good for you.... And to everyone that is complaining about there is no way of supporting LTT, there are plenty of ways, one is buying merch, one is to use YT Premium, one is to subscribe to Floatplane for just LTT content, or shopping through their affiliate links and so on.... I agree, there is truly no other way to support LTT even if you love them and watches everything they produce. Yes, you are truly a die-hard fan.... /S
  23. You are not annoying me, your attitude in the first post did It is good that you are asking about things, that is how we learn What do you want to show with your pictures as there is no comments to them? But based on your pictures I can't see that the placement of the case is going to cause trouble as the cabinet is open in the front and back. But surely that case can make the components warm, so try to remove the side from the case.
