  1. My CPU is an i5 4590 and I am not overheating because the temps are around 60 degrees like I mentioned above. I was running the game fine for months before, so I'm not sure why it'd doing this now..
  2. Hey, So recently my FPS has been dropping from a stable 60 fps to 20 fps after playing for about 20 minutes and the only way to fix it is to restart my pc. I've run a virus scan, updated drivers, rolled back drivers, checked for background apps, lowered graphics etc but nothing works. My PC isn't overheating either as all my hardware is around 60 degrees. I have a gtx 760 MSI Twin Frozr. Something weird I noticed though however, is that when the fps drop occurs, when I alt+tab the game seems to be running fine in windowed mode however when I extend the size of my window to my screen the fps drop returns. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've attached some screenshots of before and after. Note: The game was running fine and I haven't changed any of the setting, this issue seems to have popped up from nowhere.
  3. Yeah I have a 120gb SSD with just my OS, I'll install SC onto there! Well thanks for the help, guess there's nothing else I can really do other than replacing. Hopefully the 760 will last a year two more.
  4. You were the first person I met on this forum! Congrats
  5. Since SC is using the same game engine as Crysis, which I can run pretty decently, won't I have similar performance? I mean, I'd be content with 60fps on high instead of ultra on SC if it comes to that, until I can save up more for a better card.
  6. Sorry, I didn't make it clear, I already have the computer haha. I just don't know what to upgrade at this point as I only made it in December and I feel it would be a waste of money to chuck out the relatively new parts.
  7. Thank you (: Well nothing too expensive maybe around $300 tops? I'd like to buy a ship with the game release. Also I don't have a set budget exactly; I was planning on simply saving up until I could afford it, So the 760 won't have enough grunt?
  8. I recommend the g710+, one of the best gaming keyboards I've used!
