  1. If it's at 17C idle on air cooling then it's obviously a low end GPU, even 750TI idles around 25C
  2. Higher end GPUs with have higher heat outputs or TDP. Any GPU generally that is actually worth buying or having for gaming should by no means have a idle temperature of 17C on air cooling unless it's a low end GPU that isn't actually worth anything for gaming
  3. If it's at 17C on idle then definitely yes. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100384ocl
  4. The 6 core would be better but the quad core can save you money towards your next upgrade
  5. PSU is great if you haven't bought the build though changes can be made for much better
  6. Wouldn't it help to read the code it shows you, it's there for a reason
  7. If you're comparing the two in a performance scenario and can afford both it makes no sense to not choose an i7 that was my point the topic at hand is can a FX compete with it which it certainly can't and pricing isn't a big issue if you Intel Xeon route or get i7 3770K for cheap which is still better than a FX but that's offtopic
  8. If we're talking of recent generation i7s no, for any purpose there isn't really a reason to buy a FX over an i7
  9. 4770 would be a big waste and loss of money unless he somehow got retail price sell on the 4770
  10. He didn't have a stock cooler and trust me if stock with non reference was problem a lot of people wouldn't do it including me
  11. If you're referring to what I made for him how would a stock cooler and non reference card be bad lol

  13. Depends on motherboard but wouldn't recommend SLI 960s
  14. nope just different feature sets and more flagship colour schemes
  15. Whole new build tbh, i7 with 380 is pushing it on 460W not to mention it's likely a bad PSU that's likely to not deliver full targeted wattage and he doesn't even know if the case has a long enough clearance for it unless he's willing to measure it
  16. 850W way overkill, 500W would be sufficient. I would go for 550W though
  17. Not really i7 5775C is only just for better iGPU tbh
  18. If warranty is still good I would probably keep it because it's CXM which is slightly not as bad
  19. That's a pretty bad PSU for the pricing and particular build

    6/2(2+1)

I only used because there was nothing else, I always use fractions but even if I use fraction format I don't see how you could form 9 but oh well

    6/2(2+1)

I know that but I was saying bracket and numbers attached should always be priority so it shouldn't be 9 even if division and multiplication have same priority
