  1. Haha I suppose you're right. I guess I'm over thinking a bit. Besides, now that I've found this image: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=117031&d=1349959547 It makes it easy to tell the difference between the two based off of the shape of the prongs
  2. No clue what power supply it is. It's just an image that I found showing all the cables
  3. It's just that I don't think the color remains constant on all PCIe cables/CPU power cables (or does it?)
  4. On that image you're right, but I don't think they will use the same image on the test
  5. I think that my best bet might be to try and memorize the shape of the prongs
  6. I know in this picture the 8 pin PCIe is labeled, but I'm preparing for the off chance that it isnt
  7. I will be taking an online test and I don't know if the pictures they will use for the test will show what it says on the sides
  8. According to my A+ textbook, there are 8 pin PCIe power cables that don't split and 8 pin CPU power cables that don't split
  9. Hello everyone, in preparation for a test, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice with visually identifying 8 pin GPU/CPU power cords. I can identify them easily while building a PC, but with a static image there isn't much difference between the two.
  10. shoot, i realized that i clicked on the wrong place for this topic (sorry) but i will try what you said, thank you
  11. I have a friend who want to be able to watch me play video games, but she lives rather far away and i was thinking i could use Skype screensharing in a call so that she could watch, but I'd also like to play the game sound as well as sound through my mic over skype
  12. A lot of people have their computer sounds as well as voice played by default with Skype and they hate it to death, but I want it. I dont have a Soundcard but almost all the tutorials i find require you to use the Sound Mix option in recording to play computer sound. I tried out the trial version of Virtual Audio Cable to replace the need for a sound card and followed this tutorial and i used skype echo service, but only my computer sound comes through, but i want both the computer sound and mic sound. Anyone have advice?

Best regards, Nagaraju P My original message being: :I bought this Graphics cards from the Amazon Warehouse expecting it to work just fine, and for the most part it does. With the exception of Graphically intensive online games. This card just flat out doesn't respond to the video drivers and I get a Blue Screen. Blue Screen Code 116 to be exact. This product was advertised as used and in working condition so you can imagine my surprise when it doesn't do what I bought it for. I know the return window closed in January, but is there anything you guys can do for me? If not I'm out $400 on a bad graphics card that I was almost certain worked. Things are looking pretty good. I'm hoping to just get a 400 dollar refund and but another from someone else (I'll test it this time) or just get it repaired which I would probably prefer
  14. Well I would exchange it if the window didn't end in January.... I bought the GPU expecting it to work since it was from amazon and I wasn't playing very many intensive games. Whenever I bought Hardline and started playing War Thunder quite recently, I started noticing the crashes. I'm going to contact amazon support, so wish me luck.Edit: when I say from amazon I mean I bought the product from their warehouse
