Hello! If there is a topic for this already, I am sorry but I am looking for a next gen console next to my PC, and I still would like to use my Sound Blaster X7 external USB DAC/AMP. This since my Sennheiser hd 650 headphone really requires the AMP power, and cant be directly connected to the PS5/Series X. (Its also a 6,35mm and I doubt the next gen console can power it at all) My old PS4 I could connect directly to my X7 since it had optical/SPDIF, but that is gone now. My free ports on my X7 are now: RCA in and RCA out USB in 3,5 mm headphone jack output 6,35mm jack where my HD650 is connected at. How did you USB DAC/AMP users solve or bypass this? Also open for workarounds and am ok with spending a little money. :)

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there are any Adobe Premiere pro users here which could advise me on somehing. I am running a Youtube channel, and I am currently using Corel Video Studio which has served me good in the last couple of years. The only thing that bothers me the most about Corel Video Studio are the rendering times, and especially that the hardware acceleration never worked well with Corel Video Studio. I always rendered on a 4790k 4 cores 8 threads, and currently switched to a Ryzen 7 2700x 8cores 16 threads, and there is barely any improvement in rendering it seems. Also my GTX 1080ti is not stressed in any way with Corel Video studio, and after some research it seems that hardware accelaration with rendering on multi core CPU's isint really doing a good job with Corel Video studio. What I do notice is that AMD and Intel always state faster rendering times with Adobe Premiere, so I was wondering if someone could confirm that Adobe Premiere has better rendering times with newer CPU's like my Ryzen 2700x? Also another question regarding Premiere, is there any difference in Premiere Pro and Premiere CC regarding rendering times? I am creating 1440p 60fps videos mostly, and I only use simpe editing like transition effects, music, and some text overlays. No collor correction or anything like that. (so for that I would think that Premiere CC is enough?)

Hi all, Because I record a lot of tutorials, I am looking for a program which has the option to record desktop footage 60fps, with a PAUSE function. Nothing more fancy, that is all. I dont care if it is free or paid, since I will use it a lot. In example OBS and Nvidia Shadowplay have great quality, and in general they work very good and simple for desktop recording, but they dont have a pause function. The reason why I would like a pause function, is because I install a lot of mods which take quite a lot of time to finish and for that I pause the recording at those points. I am currently using Corel screencap because it has a pause function, but the quality is not perfect and its only 30fps. With Nvidia Shadowplay and OBS I of course can stop the recording, and start a new recording after, but that will give me a lot of loose separated video files which is quite annoying. Also Nvidia Shadowplay has been giving me a lot of corrupted video files since the last version. Does anyone have any experience with a desktop recorder with 60fps/pause functions? Thanks!

Alright thanks all To be honest I did not follow the Intel CPU line after I got my i7 4790k, so I had to catch up with everything again of what they did release. i9 9900k it will be!

Hello all, At this moment I am running an old Haswell-refresh system, and I would like to upgrade my CPU/MOBO/RAM. I am currently running: i7 4790k 12GB DDR3 GTX1080 ti While this is still good for gaming on 1440p, I also heavily mod videogames for my Youtube channel like GTA V, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Skyrim:SE. I start noticing that these heavily modded games are having problems running 60fps/1440p all the time, so apart from upgrading my GTX1080 ti, I also would like to upgrade my CPU. (and for that Mobo/RAM) I also edit my videos for my Youtube channel on this PC, so id rather have a i7/i9 vs a i5 The question is, what would be the best choice right now? I7 9700k, i9 9900k, or the i7 8086k? The 8086k is ‘’the best CPU for gaming’’ right now if I have to believe the reviews. Higher base clockspeed then the i7 9700k as well? Or am I mistaken here? But then the i9 9900k has 8 cores 16 threads. So I find it hard to make a decision. Budget is not important, but id rather not spend money on a CPU which is not ideal in my situation. I was wondering what you guys would pick?

Hi everyone, I would like to connect my speakers to my TV, and still be able to control volume with a remote. I dont mind if this is going to be a seperate remote or not. Speakers: Audioengine A5 (not the A5+!!) speakers They have plenty of input/outputs TV: Samsung UE65KU6000 TV is there a way to connect my speakers with SPDIF or any other solution to my TV, and still be able to remotley control the volume? The problem is that my TV has no headphone jack, but only SPDIF (and HDMI of course) The A5 speakers are active speakers, so I think a receiver or amplifier would be overkill just to connect the speakers. However a small DAC might be a good solution? In example, I know the AudioEngine D1 DAC has SPDIF and would perfectly fit my TV and Audioengine A5 speakers, but it only has a volume knob. No remote. Anyone has a suggestion for this?

Problem is I have to do a full Mobo/CPU/RAM upgrade because its the old socket 1366 It would not be just a CPU upgrade I am not sure if Skylake and that new Broadwell series would be better for gaming purposes. Id rather not buy a new motherboard/CPU combo which is going to be end of life in 6 months again

Hello everyone, I currently have the following setup: Asus Rampage III Gene (socket 1366 X58 chipset) Intel i7 960 @3,20 12GB DDR3 RAM EVGA GTX 980 I only use it for gaming. Nothing else. (sometimes for video editing, but main focus is gaming only) I am planning to buy that Acer 144hz 1440p IPS monitor, but I fear I am not going to get 144hz 1440p on 1 GTX 980. I probably have to go to GTX 980 SLI, but there is 1 problem. the i7 960, first gen i7. I could clock it to 3,8 ghz, but even then I am unsure if it will drive the 980 SLI. What would you guys do? Upgrade to current 1150? (I.E.: MSI Z97-5) or wait a bit for Skylake? Or mabey buy a 1366 XEON who could drive the 980 SLI? This issue is literally keeping me awake at night, so I would love to hear some opinions about it!
