  1. So i bought a 32gb Nexus 5x, straight outta the box had a wifi issue.

While starting a download from playstore, first couple of mb would download at max download speed and then decrease to about 10% of max speed.

Problem was solved after turning on Bluetooth.

Even though, updated to nougat and installed the hotfix, issue persisted. Went back to store for DoA, they took the phone and send it to service.

Service did patch it with some update (no clue why that hotfix is not distributed through the software update settings), got my phone back today.

Wifi issue solved, at least the download thingy was. While updating apps from the store, i had the same incident a couple of times(2-3), not a big deal.

I noticed that, when i use instagram or tumblr that are image-based it takes a while to load some images but when bluetooth is on i believe theres no delay. or is it just me?

Is there an app except Speedtest to benchmark phone's wifi speed?
    Any suggestions?

I would suggest RMA. It's most likely got a heat issue. It shouldn't have issues like that. Your CPU shouldn't be shutting down the whole PC because of the GPU. The fan on keeping the system from crashing tells me is a great issue. What manufacturer do you have?

OC wouldn't make a difference right now. I asked about OC because if you didn't have enough voltage, you could get a crash.

I can't find any other reason why you'd shut down like that. I think it's GPU crash from heat. The fan is supposed to kick on around 60 degrees C by default settings.

Go to Event Viewer. Windows Logs. And it should be under System, but check the others in case. There should be something related to your crashes. Take a look and see what is there.

RMA-ed. Thanks buddy for all the info.

I have also have the R9 380 Gaming 4G. What I'm saying is that it could be a power thing. Before trying to RMA, make sure it works with another PSU or not. That way you know for sure if it's the GPU hardware or a PSU issue. Maybe the PSU cannot sustain the power requirements and causes a crash.

Get the PC to crash, then go into event viewer and see what comes u0. If it's a driver issue or something else. You don't want to go through the RMA process without doing your due diligence to make sure it's not something else. The manufacturer is going to set it up and make sure everything works before they determine replacing or not.

I'm assuming you haven't over clocked or anything? Have you installed Afterburner to setup a fan profile to see if it's a heat issue?

Nope, havent oc or installed Afterburner since my cpu bottlenecks the whole system, i was planning to go harder on the gpu when i got a new mobo/cpu and a monitor.

I do not own a second psu, so there's no way of testing that.

Will a system crash with the current psu tell us if it's psu issue?

Which tab in the Event Viewer is that?

edit: Installed msi's afterburner, went to advanced settings put a check on "Enable user defined software automatic fan control", played for about 30-40mins of Shadow warrior, no crash..

Played 10mins Watch Dogs on ultra with no problem at all..

Should i OC it and try again?

edit 2: unchecked the "Enable user defined software automatic fan control", closed afterburner went to play Shadow Warrior for about 10mins and got the crash. Does any of these mean anything? (idle gpu temp is sitting at 46C atm, dropped to 31 as soon as i checked the fan setting box).

edit 3(final): Must be cause of temp, kinda feel stupid (here are some gpu status screens from when i remade the crash "scenario").

You never posted, but what PSU do you have? If one GPU works and another didn't, it might be a power issue. You could also try your 380 in a friend's pc and see if that works.

Thing is 380 requires 2x6pins while the 6700hd only 1x6pins, so i tested the 6700hd with both connectors and didnt get a crash.

Maybe i can return it, since it hasnt been a year since i bought it, if not then am gonna try it on a friends pc.

Yes. Sorry, I had shoulder surgery yesterday, so typing with Swipe and narcotics isn't working too well. But yes, photos, not occurs.

Yeh sure, once i get back home.

Had a couple other issues today, one keyboard and mouse stop working while their led was still on.

Second, had that "screen freeze-sound goes bananas" crash. Seems that overpushing the system to diagnose whats wrong is killing it. 9_9

It shouldn't be in a wooden drawer. It needs air to ventilate and cool things downs. When was the last time you out thermal paste on the CPU?

Excessive great causes faster degradation of hardware.

Its on a drawer, not in. Case has legs so there's an air gap inbetween them. I did change the paste when i switched the cases (about 2 weeks ago).

I would assume something related to power. If everything works until you increase power demands (playing games), then I'd look at several things. Is there something grounding it between the MB and the case? Do you have another PSU to try?

Hire did you change the case? I'm going to assume you didn't use any antistatic straps or pads?

Yup case is on a wooden drawer. I dont own any other psu to try it.

No, i didnt use any antistatic straps. I do think that the pci-e slot is damaged though, what am trying to say is that the first of the two slots(the small one) seems not to make a good contact as the second one, not sure. MoBo is ~6,5-7 years old.

  8. Greetings,

Got an issue after changing pc cases. Everything is working fine till i load a game to play(tried with Watch Dogs and Shadow Warrior).

While playing a game, in the first couple of minutes screen will turn black and pc will restart, going into a loop while speaker is doing a long beep.

This wont change unless i remove both 2x6pins connectors from gpu and manually boot the system.

I just cant figure out whats wrong. I used to play long sessions with the exact same rig before the pc case switch.

    Running:

    Radeon Software Version - 16.9.2
    Radeon Software Edition - Crimson
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series
Windows Version - Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) (64 bit)
    System Memory - 8 GB
    CPU Type - AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor

Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-770TA-UD3 (Socket M2)

Can it be the MoBo going dead?

edit: Monitor is connected to gpu via a vga-to-dvi connector.

~Update: Just found my old 6700 radeon and used it 2 times (each time with a different 6pin connector) in two 10-15minutes Shadow-Warrior sessions. Pc didnt crash. So it must be the gpu, right?

As long as you aren't using the key on another computer, it should work, even if it came from a laptop. I kinda lost you on the privacy part.

I have kinda developed trust issues and i would like my machine to be as "closed" as possible.

I found that key and i was like "sweet a free copy of 10s", i though since they shared the same key there would be a way to communicate w/e nvm.

    Thanks bois.

  10. So the key that comes with a laptop, can be used to more than 1 computer?

I have this key and am thinking about putting 2 copies of windows 10 to 2 different computers.

Moreover, if i do that will the computers have privacy from its other?

What is mean is, will one user of the copy be able to "share/see" files from the other computer?

  11. Start with html/css then move to javascript and php.

I suggest taking the course on Codecademy and then download atom/notepad++ or whatever editor and start typing.

When you are conviced that you are OK with typing, download XAMPP or WAMP and practise your php.

Javascript is the nearest thing to programming between those 4.

  12. So boys i finally can afford a good upgrade and since i dont believe i will be able to do this again soon, i wanna pick something that lasts.

I did the math and according to current prices i can afford:

    i7 4790k + Asus Z97 Deluxe

    or

i5 660k + Z170 Deluxe (will need some ram and a cooler so the price is the same here).

    What should i go for?

p.s i only need mobo+cpu maybe some coolers too, i got everything else.
