  1. Hey guys, I was wondering if it's safe to update my x99 deluxe's motherboard through the usb bios update port.
  2. I threw a lot of money at LoL, now, 3 years later I'm starting to regret it as the game is going downhill in my opinion.
  3. 1440p ism panel u2515h I own it and don't regret buying it. A 1080p ultrawide would look terrible when streching the pixels over 29"
  4. If i press the button, whzt will i have to reconfiger the ?

  6. Hey guys, Recently I've been having an issue with shutting down my pc, when I press the windows shut down button it shuts down the peripherals (including the monitors) but my tower stays on, the blue LED on my Define R5 stays lit and the fans act as if the pc restarted (by ramping up at first). These are my specs: CPUIntel I7 5820K MotherboardAsus X99-Deluxe RAM2x4GB Crucial Ballistix sport GPUAsus GTX 980 Strix CaseFractal Design R5 StorageSamsung 850 EVO 120GB PSUCooler Master V1000 Display(s)Dell U2515H and Samsung Syncmaster P2050 CoolingCooler Master 212 EVO KeyboardSome wireless logitech keyboard MouseLogitech G502 Proteus Core SoundTurtle Beach Earforce X42 headset + 5.1 Philips surround sound system Operating SystemWindows 10 (64-bit) Thanks in advance!
  7. When testing over cable the buffer became even higher: Network buffer measurements: Uplink 990 ms, Downlink is good We estimate your uplink as having 990 ms of buffering. This is quite high, and you may experience substantial disruption to your network performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large uploads. With such a buffer, real-time applications such as games or audio chat can work quite poorly when conducting large uploads at the same time
  8. Hey guys, After calling my ISP to try and get my problem isolated I did everything I could, I even redid the ends of my cables in the basement to avoid interference. Today I decided to run some tests again and netalyzer gave me a clear result: I got a single orange message (only 1 problem) and it corresponded very well with my issues of having a really bad time loading webpages and gaming no matter how I was connected or on which device I was trying to do these things. This is the message: Network buffer measurements: Uplink 580 ms, Downlink is good We estimate your uplink as having 580 ms of buffering. This level can in some situations prove somewhat high, and you may experience degraded performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large uploads. Real-time applications, such as games or audio chat, may also work poorly when conducting large uploads at the same time. I got the message when expanding the results for ipv4 and ipv6 about having port 25 blocked for email traffic but this shouldn't be a problem I assume. Direct TCP access to remote SMTP servers (port 25) is prohibited. This means you cannot send email via SMTP to arbitrary mail servers. Such blocking is a common countermeasure against malware abusing infected machines for generating spam. Your ISP likely provides a specific mail server that is permitted. Also, webmail services remain unaffected. Thanks in advance, Dimi3os
  9. Try looking up some benchmarks of the cooler and chip, compare them to what you are getting.
  10. Alright, I'll try that! Hope it works, thanks for your response!

I also tried to play a game and had constant disconnects in the client, I have this on every online game. My stupid ISP says that there is nothing wrong. Also, construction work is going on at the end of the street, might be a coincidence but the problem started weeks ago when their trucks started showing. I would really appreciate it if you could help me interpret those numbers. |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | - 0 | 116 | 116 | 0 | 0 | 24 | 0 | | .access.telenet.be - 0 | 116 | 116 | 7 | 13 | 39 | 10 | | .access.telenet.be - 0 | 116 | 116 | 9 | 14 | 43 | 12 | | .access.telenet.be - 0 | 116 | 116 | 7 | 13 | 36 | 12 | | ..Brussels1.Level3.net - 0 | 116 | 116 | 11 | 20 | 73 | 16 | | --..Amsterdam1.Level3.net - 0 | 116 | 116 | 14 | 19 | 59 | 15 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider When trying to load a stream I also got a "failed to connect to chat" reconnecting. 12. It's not bad, PSUs normally pull close to what they need from the wall outlet. The real bummer is that higher wattage psus cost more money.
  13. Utter BS, now I'm not allowed to dislike people? Say I work in a school with 100 other teachers and I see them every day in the teacher's room, would I have to talk to all of them and be friends with them on facebook lol.
  14. thanks man, this is what I was looking for.
  15. Hey guys, was wondering about what the outer dimensions of a 19 inch rack case were, the heigth doesn't realmy matter but what's one's width and length? Thanks in advance, Dimi3od
  16. They could if you were building a router with multiple 10g/g ports on 1 network card.
  17. He's so humble calling everything he ever made an invention and his hobby is making inventions, not creations but inventions. Please...
  18. Will you stop underestimating "kids". Linus' 3 year old son is "building" a pc (be it with help). Many other, younger kids (including myself) have been doing this, in high school at the age of 11-13 I even had a class called "Technological Education" in which kids (including myself again) who were studying greek and latin as main subjects (ASO (Grieks-Latijn) for the Belgian people) and had no background in this build small electrical devices, be it with batteries instead of DC current but still. It's not that he's a craftsman or an inventor or something. Pretty sure kids are forced to assemble clocks in less developed countries, maybe the same clock as the original and no one is helping them, let alone inviting them to the White House or Facebook HQ.
  19. So you're telling me that disassembling a DIGITAL clock is anything near hard? At the age of 16 I disassembled and reassembled a laptop and I feel that that's way harder than doing the same thing with a clock. (Also, I never asked for recognition for it, nor do I call myself an inventor (don't think the kid does so himself but you can at least step forward instead of being dazzled by the fame). To the gallows is what I say!
  20. 10Gbit transfers at a rate of 1.25 GB/s since 1 Gb is 1/8th of a GB
  21. This was my idea lol, put 8 springs on the side, make sure they're set up well and secure them into a cabinet or a wall with enough space to move
