  1. Hi everyone; I've got a corsair RM-1000W PSU with the officail Corsair sleeved cables: 24-pin: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-individually-sleeved-rm-ax(i)1200i-860i-760i-atx-24pin-cable-(gen-2)-white rest: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-individually-sleeved-psu-dc-cable-kittype-3-(gen-2)-for-axi-ax-hx-rm-txm-white While I do love these cables, I was wondering if these cable combs would fit the cables I bought: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/cablemod-c-series-basic-cable-comb-kit-cable-tidy-transparent-precision-moulded-abs-plastic-re-usabl I have no idea what the thickness is or anything like that, I was just hoping the combs would fit the cable sleeves. Thanks
  2. I appreciate it, I've been looking since around March with no luck.
  3. It's an aesthetic choice really. They were mounted onto the cage (2 SSDs and 1 HDD) but it just got bored of the look.
  4. Hi Everyone; I've owned a corsair 780T for almost a year now and while I do love the case, I wanted to mix things up. I've been using the included HDD cage for the longest time but now I've saved up for an all SSD build, but the problem is I lost the SSD caddies. You can see them in the video at the 4:40 mark. If anyone can tell me where I can find them I would greatly appreciate it. I searched the corsair store for spare parts and came up with nothing. I'd appreciate the help.
  5. Hi all, I was looking at ways to clean up my build a bit when a friend of mine sent me this video: (skip to 2:20) I can't find that SSD enclosure anywhere. The one I did find used USB, but since I'm using it internally I need a SATA connection. I live in England so I checked Amazon.co.uk and Scan.co.uk and nothing came up. I'd appreciate any help in finding enclosure. Thanks.
  6. To be frank, the second floor is where the majority of the users will be so having both a wired and wireless solution made the most sense to me. I haven't purchased any networking gear but having talked to my family they don't really have a budget, they just want a decent network. Also, I am planning on re purposing an old computer into a NAS, which is why I went for the Gigabit switch. Also, do you guys know if that one switch will provide enough power to 3 of those APs? Cheers
  7. Hi everyone, my family and I just moved into a new 3 storey house and the networking is a nightmare. The ground floor is where the big living room is along with the kitchen, the second floor is where the majority of the bedrooms are and the third floor is where the guest rooms are. We live in Bahrain, a small middle-eastern nation, with very "average" ISPs. The current wifi setup runs of off a small router in a closet on the second floor. Pictures 1-4 show the back and front of the route, it has 4 Ethernet ports and they aren't enough. Firstly, I intend on using this switch http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B017LWQIZA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE to get more ports and provide PoE to these APs http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ubiquiti-Networks-UAP-AC-PRO-access-point/dp/B016XYQ3WK/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1457980215&sr=1-1&keywords=ubiquiti+ac I intend to place on AP on every floor to get the most coverage around the house. Also, since I've been away for uni, I've only seen the house when it was incomplete and it is big, the walls are thick to. If you guys can recommend a different or better setup, I'd very much appreciate that. Regards; Salman Aljenaid
  8. Hi fellas, I've got two reference 980Ti cards in my build and while I do love the reference design, the lack of a backplate is an oversight by Nvidia. I've come across this: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/evga-gtx-980ti-backplate-for-acx-20plus-superclocked-and-reference-cards I know it says it supports reference cards, I was just hoping someone can confirm that. regards; Salman
  9. I'm in my third year of four. We finished up the first semester and are taking finals. However, I might take a placement year. It's when you take a year off to work in industry, it's optional.
  10. Hi everyone, I've posted on the LTT forums before but nothing serious. Now, I really need help. So I'm in England doing a computer science Bsc at Loughborough University, a well respected university with a strong CS course. I'm in my third year of four and to be frank, I hate it. Over the last few years, I've come to hate this course and come to realize that CS is not for me. I initially wanted to study games design or anything related to the games industry but my parents thought it was a bad idea and said that CS is a much safer bet, and they are right. It wasn't until my second year that a group of other kids and I had to create a website and maintain and improve on it throughout the year, to simulate a business. I was assigned the role of lead writer since my coding skills are the weakest and I decided it would be a games review website. I was pumping out reviews for that thing on a weekly basis, I had no idea how fun it could be to write about games and really dissect them, matter of fact my Spec Ops: The Line review was over 2000 words long and several of the staff members in the department would actually read my reviews. The third year for me is kind of a nightmare really, most of our lecturers have been useless so far with on a few good ones. I feel like giving up, like i'm not fit for this course. I started looking up other universities that offer a games course and it feels like something I should be a part of. Here are some of the few I found: 1) http://www.solent.ac.uk/courses/2016/undergraduate/computer-games-art-ba/course-details.aspx 2) http://www.abertay.ac.uk/courses/ug/comopgamestech/ 3)http://www.brunel.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/games-design-ba 4)http://www.port.ac.uk/courses/computing-and-creative-technologies/bsc-hons-computer-games-technology/#overview 5/6)http://www.shu.ac.uk/prospectus/course/720/ or http://www.shu.ac.uk/prospectus/course/502/ To clarify things I don't hate programming, I find it boring. I've always enjoyed the design aspects of the industry, "What makes a game a compelling experience?" sort of thing. If anyone can offer me a bit of advice or a really good games course in the UK, I'd highly appreciate it. Thanks and sorry for the long read.
  11. Hi everyone; As the topic name implies, i'm looking for a CPU cooler for the Corsair 380T. I'm considering the Noctua NH-U9S but, to be frank, i'm not sure it will fit in the case. I'd appreciate it if anyone could advise me on whether or not it'll fit. And since i'm on the topic on my build, my part selection could be found here (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/wjPfwP), I'd really like some opinions. Thanks All
  12. I used to be into 10-key less keyboards because they looked much sleeker but after getting the K70 as my first mechanical keyboard, I can't imagine a keyboard without a numpad.
  13. A great thank you to all the users who helped me with this decision. I just finished my order and I'm looking forward to using it. Also thank you to the Razer fanboy on this thread who provided many lulz
  14. I try to avoid Razer products, they feel cheaper than other products.
