  1. If i already have a 1 tb drive with data on it, can i add a second one and set up a Raid 1 array without losing any data.
  2. Can you stimultaniously use single and dual channel ram? (IE: 2x4 gb sticks and 1x8 gb stick)
  3. I chose an asus one and love it. If you aren't moving much if say the evga for warranty/step up and best cooling system
  4. As an owner of the 2gb 960 I have not encountered any issues. While I am very much an nvidia fan over amd I would have gotten an AMD if I had the wattage for it (first time builders errors). Especially if you are willing to spend the extra and the prices are right go for the 280x, the preformance boost will be great for 1080p and I know I woulda liked the extra one gb. If you just wanna know if it's worth the extra money I haven't encountered any game where my 2gb wasn't enough at 1080
  5. I have recently found a GTX 960 for 180$, is it worth the price drop from the 970 to get it instead? Edit: I do not want recommendations on getting a 280x instead I've heard those I do not want an AMD graphics card I need the low TDP. My question is purely if I should wait on the 970 or get the 960 since it is at such a low price(half of the 970 almost)
  6. The necessity for 4gb on the 960 if there is any
  7. Thanks hacker, good point. Hadnt thought of it that way. Thanks all for your input
  8. Budget is around 250 USD, my cpu is an i5 4590
  9. so as the title states I am currently trying to decide on a video card. I have the rest of the build complete, I am simply waiting on the funds as it is a pricier component. The games I play on PC are not AAA titles, they are simple games such as heavily modded minecraft, league, cs go, old batman games and indie games. I do not have a very demanding selection as I purchase all of my AAA titles on a ps4 (what can I say it's a gift and it's great). So for those selections, what card should I get? I need to go with Nvidia due to the fact I have a measly 450w power supply (mistake I know). Knowing this, any suggestions?
  10. I am currently debating on wheter to spend the extra 40$ on a backplate/2 extra GB of VRAM or to let it be at the 200$ price point. I am refusing to go with AMD due to the fact that my power supply couldn't handle it, and my bank account couldn't handle replacing my power supply getting a new graphics card. I'm also not in the position to get a 970. Regardless, will the two extra GB of VRAM be worth it?
