Hi Everyone! I have an i7 7700K and I plan on just keeping it at stock and not overclocking it. I usually just web browse and paly games, such as BFV and the likes. I currently have an H115i but the pump died (idle temps 50-60 celcius, and gaming pinned at 90) so now I've RMA'ed it and plan on buying a new cooler and considering air coolers. Now I'm wondering which one I should buy, any suggestions as which one is best for my needs? I have a Lian-Li Lancool ii case and a maximus ix mobo thanks in advance!

My Macbook has water damage and I need to repair/replace some of the components of the chassis, including the topcase and trackpad Does anyone know or has tried to use a 2015 topcase on a 2016 model? From my understanding the ribbon cables (flex cables) are interchangeable, so would it be safe to say or assume that the whole topcase is compatible? Thanks in advance!

hahah okay then 980/980ti it is then. Depends on how good of a deal I can get on them
-
Yeah I could! They'd run me a good $50 more per GPU for 980ti SLI Apparently there's about a 20% difference between 970 and 980?!
-
Yeah, that's what I've found in my experience currently. I might just do the upgrade
-
I currently have GTX 970s in SLI (ASUS STRIX) and I have an ASUS MG28UQ 4K monitor. I can play modern games on high settings at 1440p, but have to bring down and turn off some settings if I want to play at 4K res. At the same time, I need SLI and not a single graphics card as for I run a multi-monitor setup (not during gaming though) was wondering if its worth the upgrade to 980s in SLI. I can get a pair of 980s for about $400 (US) and about $600 Canadian. I am NOT looking for monitor suggestions or suggestions as to what graphics cards I should upgrade to. Simply asking for 970 sli vs 980 sli (please don't suggest I wait for nVidia's new graphics cards in 2018 or for me to get a single 1080/1080ti as for I am NOT interested) Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I take off the side panels and its fine, I can barely hear any of the fans

Tried everything, for some reason the profile just automatically changes and the fans won't ramp down. It's very bizarre
