I'm building a cheap computer for a friend, I was looking for RAM in amazon and I saw two options to buy, a 3000Mhz CL15 RAM and a 2666Mhz CL16 ram. I'm buying an Intel 10100 and the maxium speed that supports is 2666Mhz with a gigabyte H410M-H. The question is, since the first ram will run at 2666Mhz, would this ram be effectively a 2666Mhz CL15 in my system?. Is the first one better than the second? I'm aware I can buy the first one and turn on XMP, but I just want to know about the stock behavior.

I understand that different games will be different, and yeah, it depends. But can't we unify the answers?, If CSGO feels better with a 120 FPS cap, don't the experience at 120 FPS should be just better in all games?.

I've been searching about what is the sweetspot in fps for gaming in a 60 hz monitor, I've found this 5 answers. 1.- 60 FPS + no vsync 2.- 60 FPS + Vsync, (but input lag) 3.- 80 FPS no vsync 4.- 120 FPS (The famous formula " 2 x RefreshRate + 1") (Somehow smother gameplay) 5.- The most FPS the better (Same as 3 but.. very smother) What do you think is better?, What do you feel is better? Thanks for answering!
