Hey, right now i have a Phenom ii x4 940 and an r9 380 with 4gb ram and while it can play most games okay, eventually its not gonna really keep up too well and it still stutters quite a bit. So i was thinking of an upgrade in a year or something. I also wanted to do some water cooling with it later on, so what would be a good recommendation? i was thinking that a fx 8350 might not be bad, or maybe like an I5 Minimum Thanks

I would but with my remaining budget lets say 250$ im not gonna get a super good upgrade that is worthwhile to upgrade

Hey, i am looking to upgrade my old computer, I currently my GPU is an AMD 6870 and my CPU is a Phenom II X4 940, So i see this 280x for 180$ in Canadian, so if i get this card will i get some large fps boost in most games, or should i just go for a cpu upgrade more? I understand that my CPU isin't super strong but the 280x looks like a good deal to me, Thanks Forgot to say that this is used

Yeah, i am just gaming the gpu is holding fairly well right now, in GTA 5 the most demanding game i have the CPU usage is max but the gpu seems to be only 50-60%

Hey, i am looking to upgrade my computer right now, these are the specs GPU: 6870 CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 940 Motherboard: Asus M3A-78T Ram: 4GB DDR2 So i am looking to upgrade it, as i mentioned but i want some suggestions to what to upgrade, i have a 400$ budget, in Canadian and have windows 10 right now, heard something about that and needing to buy a new copy or something. well you could look at your motherboard manual, see what it is supposed to be, try that

do the fans turn on? check that everything is plugged in right and tight
