  1. Really difficult to actually source a ps2 keyboard now apparently. I just bought a simple USB keyboard which worked with the converter I already bought. Problem solved.
  2. Update: PS2-USB adapter does not work with my G510 apparently. Will get my hands on a PS2 keyboard next.
  3. Good to know for the future, but for now I can't boot into windows.
  4. Did that. Figured. Was hoping there was a solution that didn't entail PS2, but oh well.
  5. Howdy fellas, I used to access my BIOS with a PS2 keyboard I don't have anymore. So I was trying to access it with my USB keyboard (G510) and it was suggested I reset the CMOS and disable fast boot. So I hit the reset CMOS button on the back of the mobo and now I have pic related, which is really unfortunate because my keyboard is still not being recognized, meaning I can't press F2, DEL, or F1. There's also a "B4" in the bottom right corner of the screen, not sure what that means. Anyone got any ideas on what to do, other than get a new PS2 keyboard? I've tried all USB ports I have, currently have it in one of the 2.0 ports. Specs are in the pic, but to here they are anyway: Asrock z77 Extreme4 2x 8GB ddr3 i5 3570k stock clock GTX970 2x 1TB old samsung had drives in raid 1 1x 240GB samsung ssd
  6. Well I tried it with some unused spare cables, and known working cables in a different machine and still nothing. So I'd say it's done. Just looking for a replacement now. Cheers guys.
  7. I5 3570k @ 3.4GHz 2x Samsung spinpoint F3 (No RAID) 1x OCZ-Agility 4 1x Corsair force series 3 120GB (The drive that is no longer detected with windows on it) 4x 2GB DDR3 1600Mhz 1x Some cheap optical drive Asrock Z77 Extreme4 Gainward GTX970 Phantom Antec truepower 750W Guess I'll test every variable possible, though the other things seem to be working as far as I know. They're being detected at least. Previously it would appear in SATA3_0
  8. So I think I'm screwed, but hopefully someone here knows something I don't. This is basically what happened. -Desktop running W8.1 been a little off lately. Freezing up momentarily and whatever. Thought I was running out of RAM -Normally just put it to sleep instead of turning it off -Woke itself up over night for whatever reason -Go to use it this morning -Freezes on loading screen after login -Wait 5 minutes -Decide to restart -Won't start. Insert repair disk blah blah blah -Suddenly SSD boot drive is nowhere to be found in BIOS -Try other SATA slots -Not detected in any of them even though other drives are It's a corsair force series 3 120GB and I've had it for probably 2-3 years now. Is it finished or is there something I can do? SSD Life didn't indicate anything was wrong last I checked a few months ago.
  9. I'd like to know too. When I first got the app, it just worked straight up from what I can remember, but since flashing a different ROM, I can't manage to get it to work again.
  10. There's not too much to know other than that you have access to a lot more stuff on android. I'm sure you'll work it out pretty quickly. Here's an info-graphic to get you started on making it look the way you want. Warning, it does have offensive language, because it's from /g/. http://i.imgur.com/sK2vquv.png
  11. Oh god. Whenever temperatures get too high... so pretty much never. That's why I put mine under my desk haha
  12. From left to right: Asus G51JX, Samsung NP900X3C, Thinkpad X220i The Asus I got in 2009/2010? so I could play games at school. yep. Now I just use it to watch movies and stuff on my TV. The Samsung is the daily driver for uni. Pretty much word processing and facebook machine. The Thinkpad I got a while ago off ebay really cheap when I needed a portable laptop for school. It's great, but It has issues , which is why I got the samsung.
  13. So I "fixed" it myself at home. From what I can tell there's two parts to the center bit inside the female port and bottom part of mine had dropped down somehow. So I pushed it back up with a needle and now it connects fine again.
  14. I'm not sure. It's less than a year old and it's on the stock OS, but it has been rooted.
  15. So sometime between charging my galaxy s4 yesterday and now, the micro USB port on my phone physically broke somehow. The cable just won't go in, and I have tried multiple cables. Has anyone had this happen to them before, and what's the done thing now?
