  1. Hey, I got an original Ducky Shine and I was looking at purchasing some blank white PBT keycaps. I've only found Geekkey to have white PBT keycaps so far, so I was going to pick up the keycaps from them but I'm not sure if it's worth going thick PBT over the normal PBT for double the price. Any thoughts?

    Spotify vs GPMAA

How does the user interface feel on browser in comparison to an actual app with GPMAA? Have you noticed any minor availability issues on a genre or band that you like not being on the service? I'd like to pay to get the added benefits both services offer.

    Spotify vs GPMAA

Although I tend to agree with your views of Google if they have the better service available I will use it. That seems like a major + for GPMAA as I often listen to youtube music playlists. I'll have to consider GPMAA some more. I tend to agree with you on spotify feeling more polished, but I'm wondering if they've implemented a swipe feature on the android app for changing songs? That was one of the only polished/usability gripes I really have when I was using spotify on my mobile.

    Spotify vs GPMAA

How do these two music streaming services compare? I'm looking to pick one of these up as my daily music player and streaming service as a premium/paying member and I'm not sure which one to choose. How does GPMAA compare in terms of library (I listen to less known music within EDM and kpop), general usability on desktop and mobile and sound quality?
  5. I own DT770s (and MTH-50x as my pair of headphones) and they are a great choice for EDM music. The DT770s are bass-centric headphones given the closed design. I used them for four years listening to dubstep, glitch hop and deep house and they served me well. As with all closed designs they lack good sound stage but they are my recommendation for EDM music for under $250.
  6. Thanks for that, but wouldn't really need it if I'm re-installing windows.
  7. Thanks for all the help guys! I didn't really think there would be any problems but just making sure. Some additional information; - I'm not crossing any borders, it's only an hour and a bit drive away from me. I'll be bringing it inside the anti-static bag and box that it originally came in. - Power supply is now a downgraded Corsair 500w (can't remember exact model, cost me about $60). I was originally using a Corsair HX 750W but swapped it into my new computer as it was serving me well. I don't think the GTX 970 should be touching the limit of the 500W as it wont be OC'd. My i5 2500k is also on factory clock speeds. - When I get back I'll be doing a clean Windows 8.1, so shouldn't really be a problem with drivers.
  8. Hi, bit of a weird question but I'll be spending a week and a bit with the family at Christmas. I have an older computer I left there with a 2500k and a Radeon 6870, wondering if there would be any potential issues with bringing my GTX 970 with me just so I can play some newer games when I'm not with the family. I cant think of any issues that could arise, but just making sure. Cheers!
  9. Looks fine to me. Unless you're using an old HDD, maybe pick a 1TB up.
  10. SLI performance and general stability is fairly lackluster past a two card setup so I wouldn't really recommend 3-way SLI. If you have a $1k budget for GPU and price/performance means little to you I'd go for two GTX 980s. However the best price/performance is the GTX 970 and 2x970s in SLI.
  11. I'm pretty sure they've just leaked pictures of the new 980 TI BoostZ. (Don't be jelly of my paint skills)
  12. Tbh I wouldn't bother upgrading from 2x780ti. The performance gain even with the extra vram would be negligible. If you're keen to upgrade I'd possibly wait it out for a couple of months as they'll most likely release a 980ti variant down the line which may be what you're after given your setup.
  13. I'd pick the Corsair case solely on brand rep. The Zalman Z3 reviews are fairly scarce online but it does seem to be a fairly good budget case. Both have strong features for budget cases so it really comes down to appearance.
  14. I'm decent with soldering so I might open it up in the coming days. I've been using it as my secondary monitor for the last couple of years. However I feel this is a sign to upgrade (possibly move my current main monitor to side display and upgrade). I know some lower end monitors have a slight whine or hiss but mine never did and now it is extremely loud and high pitched. From what I can gather from other sites it seems it could definitely be a blown capacitor.
