  1. Was upgrading the graphics card and the metal bracket on the card ripped it out
  2. My motherboard is now bricked and I don't want to dare turning it on
  3. I think I found the problem it was one of the clips for one of my ram slots interfering with the backplate of the GPU causing the GPU to not be fully seated the slot and my motherboard I guess ran the card in PCI Express x4 or x8 mode causing the card to not get enough bandwidth
  4. It's doing that even while 3d mark firestrike ultra is running and that has no vsync
  5. I'm using open hardware monitor I have been using that software for 2 years now no problems
  6. all the way up in the 60s and 70s at max settings I have a standard 1680x1050 60hz display
  7. And here I am stuck with optimum 30megabits per second down and only 5 count them 5 megabits upload (the pain when uploading videos to my YouTube channel 7 hour upload when I uploaded a 12gb file of a replay of one of my live streams) and that's the only home plan they offer the only other plan they offer is business and that's freaking expensive
  8. So I just got a AMD Radeon R7 370 as a quick free replacement after the displayport port on my 750ti broke and I'm noticing that when I play a game and even some graphically demanding games like Armored Warfare, and Star Wars Battlefront the GPU usage only goes up to 64% with itty bitty spikes to 100% every 2-5 seconds. I know the card isn't overheating and my case has more then adequate cooling with 5 fans 2 on the front being high pressure fans and the one on the being a really high speed airflow fan. Also my machine is no slouch either it's got a core i5 4690k at stock speeds with a hyper212 Evo cooler with a Noctua NF-F12 fan on it, 12gb of ram, 3tb of harddrives two 1tb 7200rpm, one 500gb 7200rpm and one 500gb 5400rpm hdd, also my power supply is more then adiquate being a 750 watt 80+ bronze corsair power supply. Here are the games I tried it out on and all of them except war thunder bring it only up to 64% speed with spikes to 100% every 2-5 seconds. World of Tanks WarThunder Armored Warfare Star Wars Battlefront Warthunder was the only game that brought it higher then 64% and the card still wasn't maxed out with it being only at 99% not 100% like my other Nvidia cards like my 650ti
  9. yah theres a big clump of them right infront of the PSU where I need to plug in the cable the clump is there because I don't have room to run the extra molex cable for the 3 fans I cant hook up to the motherboard because my motherboard only has 2 fan headers
  10. My old GPU was a 750ti and had no power cables so I never ran them but now since I bought a new GPU I have to run the cable now
  11. Theres no way I'm undoing all of that to put in my new graphics card
  12. It's whatever was what the group of 3 microcenter employees that came over to help me choose a GPU said to get and it was also the least expensive one with that level of performance
  13. wait for the next gen GPUs in a few months I only bought mine because my grandmother who was generous to give me a ride doesn't like to go to that store and I wouldn't be able to go to that store again until I get a car I returned my old 750ti which the displayport port broke on and had a 2 year warranty from microcenter on and I got a $149 store credit from it and had to get whatever they are currently selling
  14. lucky my HTPC is slimline so I was forced by the formfactor I wanted to use a APU
  15. Before all the AMD hate I have no preference for either Nvidia or AMD and the AMD was less money and I had a very very very strict budget of $149
  16. Can anyone help me figure out the code part for a do loop in java

I'm actually using it as bolth a HTPC and a media server with KODI running in the forground as the main software to watch movies on the machine and PLEX running in the background as a meda server to stream to my Laptop, Gaming Desktop, and iPhone. 21. One of the ports decided to stop working on my 750ti and now I'm going to have to bring it back to the store and get a new one or atleast get store credit to get a new GPU I got a 2 year warranty for it and I am a lucky I got it a year and a half ago and saved the recipt
