  1. Thinking of this: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/H77MA-G43.html#hero-overview I am running an SSD but this appears to have sata 3. Looks like quite a good speck, and nice looking!
  2. Thanks, no need to overclock. Around £80.
  3. Can't believe how quickly that CPU became redundant. The 2500k is more than powerful for what I use it for, mainly just media and light gaming. I'll probably lose out if i sell it and the motherboard, so might just try and find a good deal on an older board.
  4. Hi All! I'm looking to swap my mid tower rig into a smaller case, probably going to get the Corsair Carbide air 240, but I'm struggling to find a motherboard. I have an i5 2500k. Can anyone recommend a mid-range mATX or ITX motherboard? Do they still make motherboards with the LGA1155 socket? There doesn't seem to be much choice available
  5. Gonna be a nightmare drilling out those rivets :S
  6. Thanks for the help, definitely going to look into some of these options. Gonna need a bigger case first though if i'm gonna install a loop!
  7. Yeah, wish I'd thought about water cooling before buying my graphics card.
  8. I'm interested to see what they've done with the PS4, I feel like after owning a PS3 since launch that it never lived up to expectations.
  9. Nice one! Guess I'll just give up on the aesthetics of my rig haha
  10. Thanks for the fast responses! I was just thinking of watercooling to get rid of the annoying fan noise when under load, but that hybrid system looks interesting! Would something like this http://tinyurl.com/lqp6z2u be a waste of time? Even if it did work I don't know what I'd do about the Vram cooling
  11. Hi, First post on the forum :) I have a MSI R7850 2GB Power Edition in my rig but under load it is very loud!! So I was hoping to watercool it, however, there are no full cover waterblocks for this card that I can find. I'm looking into universal waterblocks but I'm worried about the rest of the card overheating, would the airflow in my case alone be enough to keep it cool? Or will I need stick on heat sinks?
